I was quite impressed with the way the purchase of my new Chrysler 300 went. I had read some of the past reviews and decided to see for myself. I contacted Vinny and he invited me to come down and from the moment I arrived my son and I were treated with respect and a very pleasant buying experience. The sales process was informative and definitely not high pressure at all. Our salesman Scott was knowledgeable about the 300 and he along with the General Sales Mgr Vinny worked very hard to gain my trust and my business. I have to say that the entire sales team was very nice to deal with and worked as a team to ensure all our questions, concerns etc.. were addressed. I would like to mention that I drove over 50 miles from my home to purchase this vehicle so that in itself should give you an indication as to why you should pay them a visit. Even though the other managers technically were not involved in my sale Mike K. and Dave were always at the ready to assist in any way they could, thus showed the true team spirit. I went to this dealership to purchase a new car and trade in an older model. Salesperson told me I would get the best deal on a lease. Ended up taking an extra 4k from me. I went back to the dealer and was told that this should not have happened and apologized. Also was told that if I come back for another car, they will make it up to me. I went back because they offered me a special deal to buy a new Town & Country and get me out of the lease a year early. The value of the lease vs. current market value was exactly 4k against me. Told me they would make up for the last time and eat the difference. Worked out the deal to purchase and gave me a competitive rate, but the payment seemed a little high. I checked with my bank and they beat the rate by a half of a percent but their payment amount per month was much less than what Smithaven was offering me, and not adding up. Checked into it further and found that they hid the 4k in my new purchase, figuring I would not notice. Went back to the dealership and spoke the the GM, with the owner behind him. He told me that couldn't be true but was embarassed when I presented the dealer price work up sheet (the salesperson forgot to take it from me because he got involved with another customer) and it showed that I was correct. The owner said nothing and needless to say, I walked out. I would never go there again, there are better dealerships on Long Island to buy from if you want a Chrysler product. More

My wife and I felt very comfortable with our sales rep, J which was a very positive experience and decided to give them another try. I am glad I did. My wife and I felt very comfortable with our sales rep, Jeff. He took his time and listened to us. We didn't feel pressured at all. He explained vehicle options and was very knowledgeable regarding the vehicle we were interested in. He was able to answer our questions throughly. All the staff at Smith Haven Automotive Group were very pleasant and seemed genuinely concerned with assisting us in our vehicle purchase. I would definately recommend Smith Haven and I would purchase another vehicle from them again. More

I shopped for weeks and had many "typical" car salesman pitches used and the feeling of being forced to make a deal, not at Smithaven. I was at the point that I was going to give up but from the moment I walked in Scott, in sales, made me feel like a customer and not a deal. My credit is not good and they got me in a 2012 Liberty with more then I could ask for at a price that was under where I wanted to be. I then had a 2nd vehicle that I owed $8000 more than it was worth, I had shopped and had tried in vein to unload this truck and get something with a lower payment and something that was new! I went to 5 different dealerships for this and was told by all of them, including a jeep/dodge dealership that no deals were possible. After the purchase of my new Jeep I discussed my scenario with Vito who was handling the paperwork end of the deal. He literally LEPT into action with Scott, and within mintues had a deal to get me in a brand new Chrysler Town and Country while LOWERING my payements!!! I left that night and the next day they called to set up a time for me to come in and to let me know that Vito continued to work and got my payments lowered by another $70.00!!!!!! They had my deal already but continued to work and fight for the best deal for me. I can assure you and everyone that Smithaven has a customer for life, I will NEVER go anywhere else, they have earned my complete trust. The entire team is warm and welcomes you like family, I had 4 kids running around that place! Scott in sales and Vito in finance are two amazing employees who not only care about their dealership but take pride in their job and treat their customers the way they would treat a friend or family. Traded in my 2006 Town and Country and bought a 2013 Town and Country. I was extremely happy with the amount of my trade in and the amount I paid for my new car. After all said and done they even gave me 6 free oil changes. I should be buying another car in approximately 6 months and I will return to this dealership. More
