I had a catastrophic tire failure when the tip of the valve stem cracked off completely into my hand while just simply filling the tire. I shared with Bob that I felt this part was defective. When I asked Bob, he cordially gave me Chrysler's direct number for me to call as he wasn't authorized for that item to do anything. Which I understood. I wanted to talk with Chrysler because in times past they were helpful and fair. I shared the story with Chrysler, my being an engineer and having taken metallurgy I knew the material they used(the part was made for Chrysler by an outside vendor) was the cheapest metal there is that always fatigues under simple stress. Chrysler gave me the usual procedure speech but suggested I talk with the service manager who would be their eyes in the case anyway and that he was empowered in these cases to make the decision for Chrysler. So rather than days the situation mighty be resolved in minutes. The service manager, Ron, came back from his meeting (offsite) and immediately was informed of things. Kudos to Bob for that. I shared with Ron who listened politely so that I could say all I felt I needed to share. How many dealers are know-it-alls, cut you off etc, not Ron. He asked me to wait while he checked with Chrysler etc. He came back very quickly, no game playing making me wait etc, and said they would replace the valve stem and integral TPMS sensor and that they were glad to do it! I gladly had them do the oil, maintenance check and recall problem as well. When I got the car I saw they not only fixed sensor for the tire which I had in the trunk but they took off the spare that I mounted on the car and remounted it under the car and put the regular tire back on. They didn't have to do that. That was a nice touch. With all the snow everywhere, that was really a nice touch. There was no raised voices, no game playing just professional courtesy. More

I was pretty sure I wanted to purchase a Wrangler, but not sure which model.. Matt took the time to help me to understand the different models and their various options and to ultimately reach a great selection that I could not be happier with. Additionally, Matt went over multiple lease vs buy scenarios with me until we came to the best financing decision for my personal budget and driving needs. Everything went so smoothly and well with Matt, that when it came time to "seal the deal" in the Finance Managers office, I prepared myself for the dreaded upsell and higher rate that all to often happens when buying or leasing a new car. Bryant Quintanna, Finance Manager is a true professional. Bryant went the extra mile to make sure that I received the very best rate available for my lease. He did not bog me down or speak in confusing terms as many finance managers have in the past...There were no surprises or upsell tactics with Bryant. He explained everything I needed to know and the process was fast and painless. Both Matt and Bryant are top-notch professionals and a pleasure to deal with. I did not spend much time with others at the dealership, but everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I Purchased a 2013 2 Door Jeep Wrangler last week, wanting one for a while. I shopped around at other local dealers and was pretty much told "come back when you know what your looking for" after tell wanting one for a while. At smith haven Jeff immediately took me to the lot showed me around and said that if anything sparks my eye take it for a test drive. I left home that evening driving a brand new Jeep Wrangler Sahara and couldn't be happier. At first I was originally intending to purchase the sport. But now the few other luxury items are totally worth the extra few bucks a month. I definitely recommend shopping around but I feel that you'll end up coming back to Smith Haven. Thanks Jeff More

The sales process was informative and definitely not high pressure at all. Our salesman Scott was knowledgeable about the 300 and he along with the General Sales Mgr Vinny worked very hard to gain my trust and my business. I have to say that the entire sales team was very nice to deal with and worked as a team to ensure all our questions, concerns etc.. were addressed. I would like to mention that I drove over 50 miles from my home to purchase this vehicle so that in itself should give you an indication as to why you should pay them a visit. Even though the other managers technically were not involved in my sale Mike K. and Dave were always at the ready to assist in any way they could, thus showed the true team spirit.
