Spend time going over the details of the vehicle with my husband. Showed him how to use all the electronics in the truck. Very happy with him. He deserves 5 stars for sure. Great customer service. I came here today to get service for my car. I have been driving for many years and have visited many service centers. I had many bad experiences before, so I did not trust service centers. B I have been driving for many years and have visited many service centers. I had many bad experiences before, so I did not trust service centers. But this time was very different. Two service advisors, Larry Biehl and Tim Biehl, changed my mind. They gave me the best service and made me feel comfortable. Now, I trust this place again. I can buy a car and get service at Smith Haven Jeep without worry. I am very, very thankful to both of them! More
Went to the dealer looking to buy a used truck which wouldn’t start went we went for a test drive then after they charged the battery, the truck wouldn’t come out of first gear. They did work on the tru wouldn’t start went we went for a test drive then after they charged the battery, the truck wouldn’t come out of first gear. They did work on the truck a 2019 RAM and it was good to go with brand new tires it drove great just a sensor issues but fixed. I gave them the benefit of a doubt with a 100K warranty (truck only had 34K a 2019) went for a test drive it and it ran great had a bit of an issue opening the tailgate as u had to give it a push before releasing it. I get there to pick it up after all this and they don’t have the title for the truck!!! Haha offered me 1K off the asking price which they could have given me when I needed to get the payment down but said they had no room to move. Overall terrible absolutely terrible experience and would never give them my money. I also drove there 3 times from Manorville to St James with cash in pocket to not walk out of there with a truck. They need to reevaluate who they give manager positions to. More

Had such a negative experience getting my Jeep serviced here today. I received notice for an emissions recall on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. I made an appointment to get this taken care of back in June, 2 month here today. I received notice for an emissions recall on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. I made an appointment to get this taken care of back in June, 2 months ago. I attended my appointment this morning for 8:30am, on my day off work. The notice stated that the repair would take 2 hours, and the attendant I worked with (auggie) who I believe is also the service manager, ironically, also assured me at drop off that it’s a “quick fix” and should be done by end of day today. I let him know that if it would take longer than a day to fix, I would need to know beforehand as I wouldnt have an alternate ride to work the next morning. I also let him know I drove an hour from home to this dealership for the repair, because I purchased the car there and trusted them. Auggie (the representative who took my car) assured me that it wouldn’t be an issue. At around 12pm, I went back to the dealership to check the status of my car. Auggie told me that the staff hadn’t even begun working on it, 4 hours after my I dropped it off at my appointment time. He said that there’s a chance it wouldn’t even be ready by the end of the day because of this. He had no explanation for why nobody even started on my car other than that they are short handed and don’t have enough mechanics to work on cars. He then went on to say that the two hour estimate for the recall was incorrect, despite what it stated on the notice, and despite what he told me this morning during drop off (about it being a quick fix). He then started to say because my car was “older” it would take longer than most. This would be understandable, however the recall was on all jeeps of the same year, make and model. So if this were true, this estimate would not have been stated on the notice. I then ask if I could be given a courtesy vehicle given the circumstances (them being short handed, this being a recall issue, and the time frame for repair being incorrect). He then tells me if I need a rental I will have to pay for it. I understand that repair times may vary, but what I don’t accept is poor customer service, lack of empathy, and little to no efforts being made to right a wrong that was clearly on jeeps end, not on mine. At this point, I still don’t have my vehicle back and no communication from Jeep regarding the repair. For any repairs or anything related to customer service, go elsewhere. Even if it’s another Jeep dealership—-that’s what I plan to do going forward. Update: I just called them again for an update. They confirmed the car is still sitting in the parking lot, they haven’t even touched it 8 hours after my drop off appointment. They are denying a courtesy car despite them not honoring my appointment time. This will now be costing me a day off work tomorrow since I’m left without a car and until they decide to fix it. More
