We purchased a new 2011 GMC Terrain to replace my wife’s Oldsmobile that had just rolled 100k. Although Smail was slightly higher (~$163) than the “very best deal” AAA price, I feel that the excellent service we received from Mr. Campana (BTW, a typical friendly & knowledgeable Pittsburgh kind of guy) was worth the expenditure. He took extraordinary time to discuss the Terrain’s features with my wife (it is her vehicle) and then completed the sale (paper work and vehicle prep, etc) in about 2 hrs to meet my schedule. He was very respectful and understood that it was “her car”. We really were only in the initial phases of looking for a small SUV and had previously driven a 4 cylinder 2011 Equinox at another dealer (no 6 cylinder test drives were offered). We explained to Mr. Campana what we wanted and he had the 6 cylinder, and even though it was raining cats & dogs took us for an extended test drive. We were not planning on buying, however, the overall deal (trade & financing) were very good and my wife drove home in her new Terrain. We have yet to deal with the service department at Smail, but if it is as good as the buying experience I anticipate we will be Smail customers for a long time. More
