I hate shopping for cars. Even though I'm an attorney and negotiate for a living, I find the experience painful. I went to Smail Acura this past Saturday to buy an MDX (if the deal was right) and was surpri negotiate for a living, I find the experience painful. I went to Smail Acura this past Saturday to buy an MDX (if the deal was right) and was surprised at how "unpainful" the transaction was. I had already researched and driven the MDX and knew exactly what trim level I wanted. They had almost every color in my trim level available on the lot. Joe didn't waste my time tying to up-sell me on a higher trim level. Instead we walked the lot and did what I wanted to do, which was look at colors and interiors. I knew going in what would have been a best-case price for both the MDX and my trade. After a few minutes of fairly light hearted negotiations (and a few jabs back and forth with the sales manager about our respective chosen professions) we ended up at a very fair price. My car had just been delivered and needed prepped so Joe used another car from the lot to demonstrate all of the features. When my car was ready, we set up the blue tooth for my phone, customized a few settings, and I was off. I am not the type that has to know that the dealer isn't making any money before I'm satisfied, and Smail was not the type of dealer that made me threaten to walk off the lot before they gave me a fair deal. In the end I was able to get a fair deal and drive home in the exact car I wanted in a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. Unlike prior experiences there was no need to visit several dealers and play one against the other to get a fair price, and I didn't have to wait for them to find a car in the right color and have it brought in from out of state. I was very pleased with the overall experience. More
Mr. Suto was very fair with me during my car buying experience. We got better prices quoted from other dealers but they did not have the features we wanted in the car. Mr. Suto was very friendly and accommodating and was prepared to serve me in any way that he was able to. Overall my car buying experience was a 5...I just wish the price was a little more in line with the other Pittsburgh area Acura dealers. More
It was a true pleasure to work with our salesman, Todd Rohaly, and the rest of the staff at Smail Acura in Greensburg, PA. Todd was very well versed in the features and benefits of the Acura TL and was able to work with his sales manager, Rich Depalma, in coming up with a very attractive lease for our '11 TL SH-AWD. Being a salesman I find myself more often than not being critical of other salespeople. There was no need to put up my guard with these folks. They know their product, treat you with respect, and have great follow-up and follow-through. My wife and I could not have been more delighted. Lastly, the meeting with the F&I manager Jim was a breeze. He had everthing ready to go and we were on our way in no time. He was very organized and is a consumate professional. We drove a long way to visit Smail Acura and so far we are glad we did! More
My experience with Smail Acura has been wonderful. This is my third TSX because it gives you such a great value for the money. Everyone at Acura that I have had to deal with including service has always be is my third TSX because it gives you such a great value for the money. Everyone at Acura that I have had to deal with including service has always been very helpful and thorough. I have especially appreciated John Howards assistance through the whole process. Deciding on what to get can be a daunting task, and he made it very easy to make the right choice. He is very knowledgable about ACURA's and listens very well to what my needs were. In addition, my previous TSX needed minor body repair and he took it upon himself to take it to the Smail collision center since I made the early decision to get into a new TSX the week before the 08 TSX was due in the body shop. I felt that was outstanding customer service and he should be commended for that. More

All in all, it was a great experience. We were quoted a slightly lower price from another dealer in the area, but walked out because we just did not want to do business with them. Let me start by saying I live 5 mile from the Wexford Accura dealership. I chose a dealership 50 miles away from my house simply because of the friendly and service oriented people like Joe at Smails. I Accura dealership. Clint Robbins knew that I was not in the market for a new car. Nonetheless, he treated me as though I were. He was gracious, thorough & made sure I was comfortable with the purchase as well as the operatio car. Nonetheless, he treated me as though I were.
