We took my husbands truck in for warranty repairs after contacting several mechanics for availability on our warranty repairs. Skalnek Ford stated to bring it right in. After running the vin rather than reading the 3800.00 warranty documents that were emailed directly to the manager the same day the truck was dropped off, they pulled the wrong warranty up from the previous owner, which was the first issue and started the lengthy delay. Alex Pinkerton the service MANAGER stated we break parts all the time putting in a new transmissions just happens claiming my 70,000, 2018 Ford Platinum is old and it’s our fault. The part they broke was the starter. He told us we could tow it out if we didn’t want to pay for the part he broke and the new transmission couldn’t be programmed if we did that. The work and estimate was entirely covered by the premium warranty we purchased. The truck drove into the shop, but couldn’t be driven out without paying for damages directly caused by their mechanic. When I initially addressed the issues through one review Alex, the manager proceeded to put on Facebook things about my personal life, whom I’ve dated, my billing information and all the personal details about my claim with them. Dollars amounts we paid; bragging about how he put a new transmission in my truck and how I should be thankful he only broke one part. He proceeded to go even further stating I called him repeatedly about my issues. I never called him nonce, he felt with my husband every call except when I grabbed the phone demanding an answer as to why we was forcing us to pay for damages he caused or we can just “tow the truck out”. We were never given an estimate because the work was covered 100% by the warranty we purchased with a 100 copay. The warranty company will not pay for damages caused by their mechanic. They denied us a rental vehicle even after stating they had one ready for us. We went 4 weeks without a vehicle. This place is shameful and so is Alex Pinkerton the mechanic. More

Service team went above and beyond! Turned a bad experience into a good one with all of the current part shortages. I appreciate their 'thinking' of the customer. Service team and ownership made sure that it wasn't going to affect my upcoming obligations. They truely went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. We test drove a used car on a Thursday night, we noticed the sun roof was leaking air we mentioned it to the salesman and he said he would look into getting it fixed for us. Friday morning we emailed our salesman Doug to let him know we were interested in purchasing the vehicle but would like the sunroof repaired he said he would have it taken to the body shop and fixed. He let us know it wasn't the seal but something else but it was getting fixed. Didn't hear anything on Saturday we just assumed it was still getting fixed, only to get an email on Monday morning telling us the car was sold on Saturday by another salesman!!! How is that possible it was supposed to be getting repaired so we could purchase it. So either it was never getting repaired or someone came in on a Saturday with cash in hand and it trumped us because we were financing, either way this is why being a used car salesman gets such a bad rep. I called Rick who is the manager of the used salesman to find out how this could happen and still haven't heard back from him. Crappy dealership will never go back and will tell everyone else I know not to go here! I will call rick again and if I don't hear from him I will go up the chain of command if I have to!! More
