Tim in the parts department is the worst ever I don't believe Sirwalter hire people like him. I bought a car 3 weeks ago and I still don’t have it. It wasn’t even marked as ‘sold’ to send until 3 days ago. No immediacy in getting me my car but they sure got me the loan fast! On 2 trips from Alabama to Raleigh, my 2002 Chevy Duramax Diesel 2500 4-wheel drive crewcab slowed down on I-20 in Georgia. It slowed down by itself 3 times on the first trip and I thought it was the cruise Diesel 2500 4-wheel drive crewcab slowed down on I-20 in Georgia. It slowed down by itself 3 times on the first trip and I thought it was the cruise control. I put it into 3rd gear, then back into drive and it accelerated. It was fine for 4 months. In February, it occurred again after slowing down to a crawl for 30 minutes on the highway for an accident and I discovered that I could put my foot on the gas pedal halfway for it to speed up. I had stopped, turned off the ignition, and drove up and down a side road. It took a few days at Sir Walter since I took it in on Friday and it was repaired by Tuesday so I could leave on Wednesday. There was water in the fuel and the fuel filter was clogged. Everything was cleaned and replaced and it runs so much better. Tyler Hight and Norman, the technician, spent time with me explaining everything and told me to add diesel additive when I refueled the first 3 times and then when I get an oil change. I should also get a filter replacement every 10-25,000 miles. I may have also talked to Derek Landis. More
Did the whole transaction over the phone during pandemic time. They helped arrange financing at a great rate and a 4 year extended warranty. The price was excellent and customer service outstanding.
