I have been going to simpson for three years. I have always sworn by there work and thought they were the greatest guys. Boy was I wrong. They are a bunch of thieves. I had my sun roof repaired by them always sworn by there work and thought they were the greatest guys. Boy was I wrong. They are a bunch of thieves. I had my sun roof repaired by them a few years ago while my truck was still under warranty. The first time it rained my sun roof leaked so I took it in. I was told that it was a drain that was pluged and they cleared it for free. I was very happy, but being in southern california it does not rain much so I could not really tell if they fixed the problem. So the next time it rained it leaked again so I took my truck into them. They did the same bandaid and I thought it was ok. Today I went in because we have been getting a lot of rain and my roof was leaking real bad. Now that my truck has 100,000 miles and I am way out of my warranty they told me that I have a bad sunroof and its going to cost $900 to reseal it, and if they need to replace it, it would cost $2200. So if you are looking for a great dealership to buy a GMC or a place to have it serviced DO NOT GO TO SIMPSON. More
Service manager kept me informed daily on progress on the service required. The part required to replace the transition control module was unavailable from GM and required ten days to be completed which was service required. All of my required service issues were taken care of in one day in a very friendly and professional manner. We were involved in the Saturn Vue Hybrid battery recall. We decided to try a local GM dealership, Simpson GM. It took 3 months to get a replacement battery, and Jay Malloy hung in there with us the entire We decided to try a local GM dealership, Simpson GM. Once the battery arrived, Jay and James Simpson worked with us to get the battery put in and allow us a rental car while it was being replaced. I purchased a new 2011 GMC Sierra Denali 2500HD 4x4 from Simpson GMC. I worked with three great people throughout my experience.. Gary, Brian, and Randy. From the time I walked into this dealer I was treated with respect and everyone was kind to me without any pressure to purchase. I knew what I was looking for and it soon became apparent I would need to custom order the truck I wanted. Gary took charge and we sat down for 2 hours building the truck exactly as I wanted it. He never rushed me and he gave me his honest opinions and correct answers about the features I had questions on. 2 months later the truck is here. Gary calls and we do the paperwork process, which I might add only took an hour to complete. Gary and Randy (finance) had most of the paperwork ready to go for me. Brian was there as well and helped answer my last minute questions about vehicle features and aftermarket/upgrade equipment. I picked this truck up on November 11, 2010. When I arrived at the dealership on the big day the truck was already done with the pre-delivery inspection, was washed, filled with diesel, and ready to go for me. Gary walked the vehicle with me, setup OnStar, and answered my remaining questions. Everyone was great to work with and I will definitely purchase another vehicle from this dealership. After I told Taylor what I was looking for, he assured me the vehicle I seeked was available in the color that I wanted. When I visited Simpson Buick,I decided almost on the spot to purchase. My decision was not hard to make after I took a test drive and toured the facility. Everyone I met seemed interested in me as a customer and a person.
