Took my car in for repair. Employees very friendly and helpful. The waiting area was very clean, pleasant and offered drinks and snacks. Employees very friendly and helpful. The waiting area was very clean, pleasant and offered drinks and snacks. More
This dealership is not good at all. Shady business practices, just awful no wonder why so many people do not want to go through them. More

It was organized for the most part. Only complaint I had was that I had declined the tire and rim add on but when they brought the paperwork out for me to sign they had added it. Late December I was working with three dealerships to find the Forester that fit me best. The online inventory listed two used vehicles with stock photos and basic details. I wasn't willing to drive over find the Forester that fit me best. The online inventory listed two used vehicles with stock photos and basic details. I wasn't willing to drive over an hour to check their lot in person without some details so I figured a call would be fine to start the deal. I called the dealership to inquire about basic info: First, is the Forester on the lot or is it in transit to the dealership? Second, if it is on the lot are there any obvious damages (scrapes, stains, scuffs etc.) on the exterior or interior? I was told by the sales rep that since there were stock pictures the Forester was probably in transit. He was happy to check and let me know as soon as he found out. He took my contact info and told me he would call me later that day. Six hours later the dealership was closed. I called the next morning and explained what happened to a different sales rep. He forwarded me to that same original salesman who never answered the phone. I called right back and got a third salesman explained everything one more time. Just like the first guy, he told me the car was likely in transit, which is totally fine. I just want to know if the car is there so I don't waste two hours of travel time to get there and back home. This guy apologized a ton about the first salesman not contacting me back and promised to get back in touch with me in no less than 10 minutes. I was satisfied that I would finally get an answer to a very easy question after three salesmen and my information taken twice. I was never contacted. At no point was I contacted by any Simmons Rockwell entity (automated or personal) about my interest in giving them business. Tired of waiting for contact, I called the main Subaru competitor in Vestal (I cannot state the name of the dealership because the post will be removed) that afternoon. I put money down on a Forester (much like the one I was interested in at Simmons Rockwell) that same night. The following business day I purchased my Forester from that Vestal dealership, who was in contact with me every step of the way.I gave the dealership in Vestal a glowing review because of how well they handled every aspect of my business.
