I purchased a brand new 2012 Dodge Durango R/T AWD from a different dealership near Cerritos, CA in May 2012. There were few issues on the finishing on paint, chaulking material exposed, seat cover finishin different dealership near Cerritos, CA in May 2012. There were few issues on the finishing on paint, chaulking material exposed, seat cover finishing. To me these were small issues and should be done in 1 or 2 days of work. However, I have to bring my new vehicle to this dealership for 4 times (driving 60+ miles one way) but each time they broke more stuff without telling me or not fixing them properly (even use hot glue to stick the parts they broke back to the location and hide their mistakes). Anyway, it was a Service Shop of Horror and I completely lost any confidence with this service department. I reported this incident to Dodge Customer Relations and they have been working with me since June and try to resolve issues. At last I told Dodge Customer Relations that I am very upset of this incompetence Dealer Service Shop and ask to be switch to have another competence Dodge Dealership to help fixing the outstanding issues. I research and read all the service shop review that I could get access to around my neighborhood and found Kirby Dodge in Simi Valley. This is a new dealership in terms of ownership and management (about 1+ year) since took over from previous owner. I got a phone call from Wayne Davise, the Service Manager after Dodge Customer Relations contacted him regarding the issues that I was facing. He set me up with an appointment to inspect my vehicle. He identified areas and parts that he needs to order for the repair and ask me to return when the parts are in and they will be ready to work on the repairs. I returned after another phone call from Wayne in about 4 business days and setting me up for an appointment to get the repait done. This time I dropped off my vehicle at 7:30AM and they called me that all issues had been fixed at 2:30PM and the car is ready to be picked up. Upon arrival, Wayne greeted me with his friendly smile and told me that he had checked all the issues reported and the repair all look good to him with accpetable quality. I can't agree more that after these many trips and months of talking to the previous incompetence delearship service department. My car is finally defect free. I highly recommend this service shop to any Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler owners. Finally find someone that I can trust and also provide top quality service for my car. Will definitely return for any future service work on my vehicle even if I have to drive 20 miles to get there. Great experience there. More

After few weeks searching online for a jeep wrangler, I found a model I liked at the dealer in Simi Valley. It was a relief for me to have a nice and respectful treatment specially after having an unpleasant experience in another jeep dealer in LA county, a week before going to Simi Valley. At the other store, they who clearly didn't know how to treat a client specially a woman which made me 'run away' from the place regardless of their sales (e.g., in the other store, a person was constantly making personal compliments to me making me very uncomfortable, trying to convince me that I should take the color they had in the store and not what I liked, and the person even misled me by saying that Wrangler Sahara didn't come in 2 doors .. which was a lie, as I ended up buying a wrangler Sahara at Simi Valley) Therefore, I give 5 stars to the Jeep dealer in Simi Valley that not only know how to make business in a transparent way but also they know how to treat a woman client having that sometimes it is a little bit intimidating to buy a car when we don't know much about it. In addition to the excellent work performed by Ralph Smith since the first time I called the store, and his prompt follow up followed by his great job when I visited the store for the final purchase, I also recommend Bob Hazeski in finance, who helped me to understand the paperwork. best, Siglia More
There's no question that car dealerships have a bad reputation just for being car dealerships! Not to mention the bad rep they had before the new ownership a year and a half ago. Geez Louise! But you never know unless you experience it for yourself. The difference between Kirby Simi Valley and any other dealership is their PHENOMENAL customer service. I was completely amazed by the effort, time and care that these guys gave me in order to make me as happy as possible with my car. Don't be thrown off by the rumors. They all want to see drive away thankful that you chose to trust them. More
I went to this dealer to trade in my wrangler for a 2012 because I was interested in the newer engine type. Ralph Smith, Jesus Ortega and Marc Antonucci were great in helping me determine and locate a wrang because I was interested in the newer engine type. Chuck Gaccione and Eugene Heersink were accommodating and couteous in closing the deal. I don't think I can can accurately give all these guys the credit they deserve in words. After buying 2 jeeps at this location under different management and purchases I made at other dealerships in the past you will not find a better professional team more dedicated to making the customer happy than these guys. Buying a vehicle can be long and tedious but these guys were awesome. To summarize; Ralph Smith and Jesus Ortega for listening to what I wanted. Thank you Marc Antonucci for helping find my Jeep. Thank you Chuck Gaccione and Bob Hazeski for working the deal/completing the paperwork. Thank you And to Eugene Heersink who pulled it all together. Having problems with Smog Cert. Renewal and was referred to Jeff H. at Kirby for help. Found him very helpful and courteous and he was able to solve the problem for us.
