Anna M. was terrific. Since I'm an out-of-state (MA) purchaser I needed everything handled perfectly, i.e., paperwork, small repairs, etc. to avoid having to make multiple trips. Hi, I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Hi, I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz ML350 from "Silver Start Motors Long Island City New York". My overall experience with Hi, I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz ML350 from "Silver Start Motors Long Island City New York". My overall experience with the purchase is awesome. I think I got a very good deal. I got a very less mileage certified pre-owned car at a good price. Besides getting a good deal the other good part is they have a very good, helpful sales staff. They understand my needs and helped me out in getting a good vehicle. They listen very patiently to your questions and answer them best to your satisfaction. My after sales experience with them is also very good. They are prompt with your queries and help you a lot in doing the initial paper work. Overall I have a very satisfying and good experience with Silver Star Motors. I highly recommend Silver Star Motors if someone is interested in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Thanks. Prateek More
My family has purchased several Mercedes Benz vehicles from Brooklyn. I was referred by a friend to see Annamaria. I pretty much told her of the vehicle I was looking for. from Brooklyn. I was referred by a friend to see Annamaria. I pretty much told her of the vehicle I was looking for. After some time she called me and had what I was looking for. As soon as I walked in she greeted me and showed me the car. It was perfect. She was honest and professional. The process was seamless. I am super happy with the car and will refer everyone to Silverstar. Thanks Annamaria Rosaura More

I went there to purchase an E350. I spoke to them on the phone prior to my visit and said I wanted to get rid of my truck. I told them the year, model, and mileage of my truck. They said it was not a prob phone prior to my visit and said I wanted to get rid of my truck. I told them the year, model, and mileage of my truck. They said it was not a problem, as they would love to get me into a Mercedes. It all sounded good. I had a pre-approved loan, Insurance, and just about everything else lined up. I actually would have walked out with the car, that day. Upon arrival there, I had misgivings. The place was old and shabby. I wandered into the office however, hopes high, and was thoroughly disappointed. After walking around for a bit, I was finally approached by a salesman. He seemed amicable enough. I saw a specific car on the site I wanted, and of course he could not locate it on the inventory. Oh well, the car he showed me was 1,200 dollars more, but that was not an issue. While showing me this car, he leaned on another to scribble something down on a piece of paper, to which his manager came out of the office and proceeded to curse him out for scribbling on paper, whilst leaning on the other car. Totally unprofessional. Of course, the salesman said I had asked him to write down something, I did not, but I figured the heat would be off of him, so I let it be. Now for the appraisal of my truck. When it was time to do so, the appraiser cursed out the salesman. Basically due to the fact that said appraiser wanted to leave and this would hold him back. After roughly 5 minutes, I got the "bad news". Seems my truck had a rolled back odometer and was a salvage title according to Carfax. I was less than thrilled about hearing this. When I bought the vehicle, I had a Carfax that the dealer supplied. No salvage title, and the odometer was replaced due to failure of the original. There was a sticker from the DMV on the car stating that, and I told them the same. But no, I was wrong apparently, as was the original Carfax. I have no problem with their saying that they did not want to take it in, I would have sold it privately. But I hate being lied to. Then, as I got up to leave, they asked me to wait a few times, to help me out. Their solution, I park my truck, buy the new car, and deal with it later. And, let us not forget that this was great advice, as they pointed out. After I left, more than annoyed at the waste of my time, I paid for a Carfax, which will come in handy when I sell my truck. Everything I stated to them was accurate, they lied. Also, the car I wanted was still on the website. Furthermore, the car I was going to purchase, that they could not discount in any way, was 700 dollars cheaper at Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn, and 1200 dollars less at Mercedes Benz of Fairfield. My advice is that if you go to Silverstar, do your research, bring a laptop with internet connection, and be prepared to walk away with no reservation. They really need to understand that impressions are important and beyond that, lying to a customer is never a good thing. One would expect professionalism from a manager. More
This dealership is definitely the worst that I have shopped at. The service after sales is horrendous. It's very hard to get their service the minute after you buy the car. We saw a good price online for a slightly used (8,500 miles) GLK and decided to make the trip from NJ to Brooklyn. When we got there we were surprised by how dingy the dealership looked. The front window miles) GLK and decided to make the trip from NJ to Brooklyn. When we got there we were surprised by how dingy the dealership looked. The front windows were cracked, all the MB advertisements were still on the walls from the 1990's, and the overall appearance would make anyone at Mercedes Headquarters very unhappy. We were forced to wait for almost 2 hours before we even started talking numbers with the bank manager. Once that drawn out process was finally complete, we got in the car, which they said had been "detailed." The outside had been detailed, but the inside had coffee stains in the cupholders and on the dash. One of the seat adjustment buttons was also missing. So much for a through "certified pre-owned" checklist. There were also several small dings in the bumper which I thought would have been disclosed in the description on their website. The solution was to send us home with a small bottle of touch up paint. Better than nothing I guess. I couldn't believe the difference between the dealerships in NJ and this one in Brooklyn. If you are in the market for a Benz, do yourself a favor and take a ride over to Morristown, NJ. The dealership is brand new and beautiful. That's where our new GLK will be getting all work done going forwards. OH! I almost forgot! They forgot to put the manual in the car before we drove off with it. We will never, NEVER go back here.
