Painless Car Purchase We have bought quite a few cars, we like to drive older luxury cars. Silver Eagle was the easiest purchase experience we’ve ever had. Our salesman was Charlie, he was easy to talk to and didn’t try to apply pressure or the usual expected antics (anyone see “Fargo”?) The price was unbelievably good, the deal was easily made, no extra fees were tacked on. Any issues with the car were clearly disclosed. They even ran a VIN check for us so we could see the previous history. One month later we love the car and remain happy with our experience. We will send our friends to Silver Eagle and tell them to ask for Charlie. But if he’s off that day I’ll bet the other salesmen would be fine too. You can tell it’s a friendly and well-ran place. My husband and I went to Silver Eagle this afternoon. The SUV we had driven there to look at was being purchased by another lady, as we walked in. Charlie made sure we didn’t leave disappointed! Our experience in the payment office, finalizing the paperwork, and getting the title, was quick and painless. They really went above and beyond! More

Straight off, the salesman steered me away from it and tried to sell me on a 20 yo rattletrap with super high miles and rust everywhere. When I chose the vehicle I wanted to check out, the battery was dead. I was told it was on them to replace it if it was bad. I was also very firm that whatever I chose not leak or use oil. The salesman looked underneath and claimed it was 'dry as a bone.' I wound up purchasing the vehicle. It was nice, clean and it ran very well. The price was quite fair. When I asked over the battery, I was told it was 'just fine' and the auto had just sat too long. Well, a week after an 'as is' purchase, the battery needs replaced. There is a puddle of oil in my driveway, and the seatbelts and airbags are malfunctioning. And if you try to ask questions after a sale, you are likely to be subjected to bullying tactics and disrespect, just saying. Do NOT do business with these people. They are the type of outfit that represents the worst of their industry. More

When we test drove the vehicle we checked the air condition Purchased a 2003 Ford Ranger with average miles and in average condition for a fair price. When we test drove the vehicle we checked the air conditioning which blew warm. The salesman said it just needed charged. I purchased the vehicle a few days later in October 2012. It wasn't until we were doing an oil change 2 months later that we discovered they had removed the compressor and changed the belt. It was on when we test drove it but when you sign that paper before you drive off the lot "as is" you had better check the tires wheels and under the hood. It never crossed my mind, I hope I stop this from happening to another. More
