Service manager can't manage his department. DONT over booked cars. If you make an appointment expect to wait 4-5 hrs just to look at your vehicle then another few hours for the work to get don DONT over booked cars. Will never bring my car back here again! The service department experience was a huge disappointment! My first visit, two weeks ago on a Sat., was waiting from 9:30 am to 2 pm for an oil cha The service department experience was a huge disappointment! My first visit, two weeks ago on a Sat., was waiting from 9:30 am to 2 pm for an oil change, a recall part to be installed, and the two Splash Shield Clips (that I provided) to be plugged in, which never got installed nor returned to me. Since I have been back to this location 3 times (with scheduled appointments) for recall service and was turned away because the one recall part was not delivered (understandable), and also because the loaner car was not returned. In this case, the service dept should have called instead of making me waste gas and two additional trips to the location if this was the issue and service could not be performed! Then when mentioning that the Splash Shield clips were still not installed, the service person insisted and was convinced that the clips were put in (instead of checking for himself). I even sent him photos showing that the duct tape was still holding up the two Splash Shields, and the clips were not installed as he said they were. Also, the original oil dipstick was replaced with an old warn-out dipstick from another car. I mentioned this, and the service person said they would replace it. It still has not been replaced. Then the loner car that was promised never came through (twice), and on the 3rd visit (was told the loaner car was available) but when I arrived and an hour later, was told that I would have to go to Hertz Rental car up the street to get a rental (Nissan would pay for it), but that wait was an additional 2-3 hours. Today is my 5th attempt to get through to the service department so they can replace the old warn dipstick that was switched out, plug in the clips that I provided, and unfortunately, there's one more recall part to replace, but after this wasteful experience. I will not return for any car service nor recommend this Nissan location! And will be having my car inspected to make sure they did indeed change the oil/oil filter/two (of 3) recall parts/and two (air & cabin) filters that I paid for! More
So I came in for an oil change, but ended up with some new tires, new brakes and an oil change all because of the most awesome Service tech Ernesto explaining all of my options.
