He showed us the ones on the lot and then, because there wasn't one there he said there was one in Jamestown. Normally he would have had someone go and bring it back, but offered to let us go with him in one car and then "Test drive" the other one back to Dunkirk. We drove the 2011 Subaru back and agreed to buy it. Jim was a pleasant person and not pushy. We would have walked away if the deal had not been right. I asked If he was willing to negotiate the on-line price. Jim said come to Dunkirk and look at this vehicle. The next day, I met with Jim, and an hour and half later I was driving home with my vehicle. Jim licensed and put insurance on it while I went out for lunch. I got a vehicle that was a year newer and his price was the trade-in book value. I think I got a great deal that other dealers were retailing $6000 more. Jim replaced a wheel that I was not happy with and mailed me some other minor parts. Shults also threw in free oil changes, next year's state inspection, spring and fall checkups, tire rotations plus their dealer warranty. Note the vehicle also had remaining manufacturers warranty.
