I brought my car in for a recall repair - there was nothing wrong with the car. The dealership had my car for almost 3 weeks, and representatives (when we could EVER reach someone) were dishonest about nothing wrong with the car. The dealership had my car for almost 3 weeks, and representatives (when we could EVER reach someone) were dishonest about the situation, never clear or honest about what had been done, and never provided any information or details about progress. I feel very confident my car sat in the shop untouched for weeks. We were never kept informed and only received responses after repeated calls/messages. This is very possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. When I was finally able to go pick my car up, the battery was completely dead and the service technician had to jumpstart for me to even leave. I can’t believe that they said the repair was done, but clearly had never even driven the car to make sure everything was in order. Again, very likely the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. More
I dropped off my car at 3pm the day before my appointment and was picking 2 hours later:) It was one of the best experiences I've had at any service department! Great service, they did warranty and recall repairs at no cost while I waited, along with routine maintenance. Another dealer wanted to keep the car for 2 days, which would have been difficult or expensive f cost while I waited, along with routine maintenance. Much better than the last experience I had with their service department. I had a 1 pm appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I was in and out in an hour. `I had a recall on my vehicle and called to see it there had been a fix created. The rep looked my vehicle up in the system and advised that yes a fix had been created and made an appointment for me 10-14 had been a fix created. The rep looked my vehicle up in the system and advised that yes a fix had been created and made an appointment for me 10-14 days later. When I arrived at the appointed time I was told that they did not have a fix yet. I told the guy, that I had been told differently and that was why I was here! He said he would check it and asked if my phone number was 404-xxx-xxxx. I told him no that was my husband’s number. He then said is yours 770-xxx-xxxx. I said no that was incorrect as he had two numbers transposed. He did not correct it on his computer. I waited for over an hour and my husband called me to say that he had just gotten a text from Shottenkirk advising that my vehicle was ready. I thanked him since no one at the dealership had said anything to me about this. This is my second recall on a brand new vehicle, with months wait time for fixes to be developed. Needless to say, I am not impressed by Hyundai, or the service being provided at this time. More
