Bought a brand new 2024 Santa Cruz, brought it home and had it for a week when one night it rained. Woke up the next morning with the front passenger floorboard soaking wet. According to their platinum mechanic, one of the drain hoses coming from the sunroof has a clip going down the frame that was not properly installed by the factory. According to the sales manager, this is not the first Santa Cruz that has had this factory issue. My experience with the management team was very poor. General manager Tim seems to always be in a meeting when you call or come by. My first conversation with general manager Tim was that initially he was preoccupied and really was not interested in hearing what I had to say. The sales manager’s attitude basically has been, oh well, things happen. The management team doesn’t feel that all the water coming in through the frame behind the glove box and onto the floor will have any affect on any wiring or components. General manager Tim said he would contact Hyundai about replacing the carpets since obviously that much water will probably cause mold and mildew issues. It’s been two weeks and have not gotten a response back. The only bright spot in dealing with this dealership was the initial salesman, Jacob. Jacob did an outstanding job and is an outstanding salesman. He is very attentive and easy to work with kudos to Jacob in sales. More

Unfortunately I had a very poor experience with Shottenkirk. It took them 3 months to fix my car. I didn’t get a loaner car until 1 month of having to call and email them everyday. Nobody seem to w Shottenkirk. It took them 3 months to fix my car. I didn’t get a loaner car until 1 month of having to call and email them everyday. Nobody seem to want to fix it under the warranty that was purchased with the car so they dragged their feet to get it done. When they finally “so called” fixed my car not even 5 mins from driving from the dealership my engine light came back on. Had to get it re diagnosed which ended up coincidentally being a $1300 quote to fix. Big money game for them. Never having business with them again More
