***Beware*** Took my vehicle in for a battery replacement. The actual process of calling ahead to get a price quote, as well as having my vehicle brought back to have the battery replaced was pre replacement. The actual process of calling ahead to get a price quote, as well as having my vehicle brought back to have the battery replaced was pretty seamless. When I went to pay for the service, they informed me that they charge a 3% fee if I pay by credit card. They are passing along the 3% "merchant fee" to their customers. This is their right, but it's also my right to advertise this business practice to everyone so that consumers can make educated decisions on where to take their business. After writing a Google Review making people aware of it, Tim Huynh replied and asked me to call him because he wanted to "make things right" (you can go read the Google Review if you like). I don't know why he asked me to call him, because when I called him, all he could keep saying was that they charge a 3% fee. Yeah,.. I know. More
I made an appt for recall work. I went and you didn’t have the pieces. Even though I made sure to ask if you did when I made the appointment. I live three miles from a different Hyundai dealership, but my experiences with them have been bad. I will gladly drive 15 miles to Shottenkirk Hyundai to get my car serviced.
