After waiting about an hour for an express oil change, we saw our car from the showroom window in a waiting area. After about 10 minutes, walked over to the service desk but it was empty. Asked someone if the cars in the waiting area were done and we were told they were. Went back to showroom thinking we would be notified that our car was done momentarily but we were not. Walked to service desk again and spoke to service agent who said he would close us out shortly. Went back to showroom, waiting again and then went out to service counter where we continued to wait. Completely aside from service, I was disappointed to hear that the dealership was going to start charging a 3% fee to use a credit or debit card. It is hard for me to understand why a company would want to pass this fee on to their customer. It is no longer a "convenience" to use a credit or debit card in today's world. Whether good or back, people rarely carry cash (especially enough for automotive costs) much less checks. I try to get my services done by a Honda dealership, but with this additional cost and in this economy, I find it more convenient to take my business to a locally owned place where they will gladly take my debit card without charging me a fee. More
