A little disappointed We went in to meet with a sales rep and completed a form on what we were looking for and the first car they brought out didn't have any of the things We went in to meet with a sales rep and completed a form on what we were looking for and the first car they brought out didn't have any of the things we listed. The second car was $6,000 over our budget, but we test drove it and liked it. Started negotiating all week via email regarding the price. The sales girl stopped responding to my emails, so I texted her. She replied and wasn't willing to go down on their price more than $1,000. She stopped responding to my texts, so I had to contact the used car sales manager to get the final out the door price. Completed the finance app online and I told him that I didn't like sitting at dealerships all day while waiting on paperwork to be completed. Gave him a time we'd be there, but when we arrived, nothing was ready. Had to wait on the paperwork to be completed, wait for them to detail the car, went over the pricing two or three times, had to wait on them to fill up the tank with gas, had to wait on them to enter the info online for the state, then we had to go into a office to hear the sales pitch on buying a $4,000 repair warranty. When I told them we weren't interested, they brought a manager in to continue to try and convince us that we needed a warranty. No dice. Then we had to wait on them to affix the temporary tag. We were there for a total of 3 1/2 hours! I've bought several cars at Toyota and we were in and out within 30 minutes, TOPS. I was not impressed with my first Honda purchase at a Honda dealership at all. I firmly believe that the "waiting game" was a tactic to try and wear us down and push us into that expensive warranty : ( More
