Everything went really well except my tire sensors were not recalibrated with the tire monitor on my dashboard, and too little air was put in 2 of them. It’s been hard to figure out which ones. The Service Dept. deserves the commission for sales to my husband and I because they are the only reason I purchased another car from Shottenkirk. My garage fire destroyed the new Escape 2020 I had bought from Shottenkirk so I went up there because the same year and model, Hybrid was available. I wanted the car and was in bit of an imposition but I argued the car needed new tires - this was in February - Mr. Effron told me the tires had 20,000 miles left on them. Now it is July and 5,000 miles later they had to be replaced - upon the advice of Shottenkirk when I came in for my free oil change. I was not told the spare key was not available until I was getting in my car. Then was told I would be sold the spare key for a discount. I paid $400.00 - no discount. I've emailed the General Mgr and 2 Sales Managers - nothing. I've purchased new and used from Shottenkirk over the years - but now I'm debating on switching. The only thing that makes me pause is I love the service department. The whole experience caused us to purchase our truck from another dealer and I am going to advise my friend who is in the market for a brand new diesel double tandem truck that she may want to rethink it. More

Reviews about Shottenkirk are not exaggerated, I am very happy with my experience. The only issue is with the booking of the service, the national booking service did not provide correct details related to happy with my experience. The only issue is with the booking of the service, the national booking service did not provide correct details related to the service requirements, for my initial service consultation Shottenkirk needed extended time; but, the guys at Shottenkirk made up of the booking shortcomings and got me in right away. I moved recently too far from my previous dealer location, I'm very happy to have found Shottenkirk. Thanks Shottenkirk team for a great customer experience. More
