Shottenkirk charged me for repairs that were not necessary. Upon returning to NC My vehicle had the same problems it had when I took it in to Shottenkirk plus a broken fuel pump float that was insta necessary. Upon returning to NC My vehicle had the same problems it had when I took it in to Shottenkirk plus a broken fuel pump float that was installed by Shottenkirk. Also unnecessary. My NC service rep said all I needed was a TIPM box and everything Shottenkirk did was a waste of time and money. My dealership made the repair and it runs great. Relaying this information to Shottenkirk along with invoices I was told I would receive a full refund. I have dealt with this for over 5 months and still do not have my refund. I call,leave messages and send emails. Shottenkirk will not respond. I will never use or recommend Shottenkik to anyone ever. More

Had an appointment at 1:00 pm to have a minor repair on my vehicle. When I arrived, I was told that it may take 24 hours to be repaired. REALLY???? 24 hours to fix a rattle!!! Why would I need an appoin my vehicle. When I arrived, I was told that it may take 24 hours to be repaired. REALLY???? 24 hours to fix a rattle!!! Why would I need an appointment to have them find and fix an interior rattle? Ok, so I left the car to be repaired thinking I would hear from them by the next day. Called around 2:00 to get an update and the call went to voicemail. Called again around 2:30. Again, got a voicemail and I left a message for call back. Called again about 4:00 and once again got a voicemail. I decided to call the main service line and they just connected me again to the service writer (Steven Thorpe) and I got the voice mail again! Finally called the main line again and explained that I am trying to get an update on my vehicle that was supposed to be done by 1:00 pm. I finally got a service person to speak to me and was told they haven't looked at it!!!! He claimed that it would get done and they will call us when it is ready. In about 20 min. I got the call that it was done! IT ONLY TOOK 20 MINUTES AND THEY HAD MY CAR FOR OVER 24 HOURS!!!!! Funny how I never got a call or a call back after leaving a voice mail message for an update on the service, but I got FOUR calls from a Shottenkirk representative wanting to purchase my car due to the high demand for cars!!!! Needless to say, I am not impressed with the service department. I would not be near as upset if I did not have an appointment (whats the point for appointments if they cannot be prepared to even look at the car on the day you make the appointment?). Also, how hard is it to keep the customer updated with the progress, even if the work takes a little longer than anticipated? I am usually very patient and understanding. However, the lack of customer service was very disappointing. By the way, could it be that I am a female, and I was being taken advantage of???? More
