I was at the dealership for 4 hours and three of that was either waiting on finance or dealing with finance. I am not new to buying cars and have purchased three cars in the last 10 years. All those cars together did not total 4 hours at a dealership. Dealing with finance was a headache and when I told him what I wanted in terms of the options it always went back to a sales pitch of what was best for the car and having everything covered for the future. I have excellent credit and yes did have some negative equality however I was putting a good bit down to off set the negative. I started out at 4.5% interest which I knew was not correct. I knew going in the base prices of GAP insurance, warranties etc.. I had a number in mind on how much I was willing to go up in payment. We finally got close to that payment and I accepted the price, would I do it again, not sure! I love the car, loved working with Duck but probably would not purchase from the dealership again. If I did I would come in pre-approved from my credit union. Also in talking with friends who have purchase we had similar experiences with this dealership and finance which made me realize it was not just me. More
