Communication with the dealership throughout my service experience was very difficult (2 stars). I brought my car in on June 16th for the 5 year powertrain warranty inspection. They told me they could not certify the warranty until they repaired the oil pan gasket and replace the front crank s powertrain warranty inspection. They told me they could not certify the warranty until they repaired the oil pan gasket and replace the front crank seal timing cover gasket. They said if I take the car off the lot before fixing these items I would void the powertrain warranty. So I left the car there and they were going to order the parts. They ordered the parts and on June 22nd they received the timing gasket but the oil pan gasket was lost by Chrysler, so they ordered a new one. On June 16th I asked them to check the radio out because it was coming on and off. On June 20th I asked them if they did the diagnostic test on the radio and they told me that the tech will have an answer on the radio when the other parts come in and they will do everything at the same time. I went back and forth with Jordyn and was told the oil pan gasket was shipped on June 26th. She said it was coming UPS ground and she should receive it on June 29th or 30th. They received it on the 30th and when I spoke to Jordyn she said she was going to put someone in it right away and they will do the best they can to have it done by June 30th but the tech doesn’t work Saturdays. She told me that most likely they will not have the car done until Monday July 3rd late afternoon. She said the technician has numerous cars he is working on and most likely you will not get your car back until July 5th. I didn’t understand why the technician could not have the car done Monday since he started the car on Friday and he had all day Monday to complete the job so I called Jordyn on July 5th and asked if the car would be done by the end of the day. She told me she was not going to put any pressure on the technician to get it done. I asked her about the car radio and she said the technician said that the radio needed to be replaced. So I did not call her back. I waited for her to call me to tell me my vehicle was completed. On July 7th she texted me and told me my vehicle was completed and I could come pick it up. I picked up my vehicle at the end of the day but when I got home I noticed the check engine light was on. So Saturday morning I went back down to the service center and spoke to the service manager and he had a technician diagnose the problem and the check engine light went off. On Monday I called a radio repair shop and told them about my radio. He told me to check my fuses. So I checked all the fuses and made sure they were goo, I pushed down on all the fuses to make sure they were secure. I then turned my vehicle on and the radio played and I haven’t had any problems with the radio since. I do not know how comfortable I would be coming back to your service center because I shouldn’t take 3 weeks to repair my car and if I listened to the technician when he said my radio needed to be replaced it would have cost me over $700 to replace it. At the beginning of the service I asked the service manager if they give a loaner car and he said no. I would like to give your service center another try but I have a lot of reservations and I’m not sure how comfortable I am to recommend your service center to anyone. Because when I took my vehicle for an oil change on March 11, 2023 Dirkston told Me they did the I spy and there was no other problem. When they had the car on the lift and did the inspection they should have seen the problems they saw in June. on March 17th I had my vehicle back to your service center and Kayden did the following-transfer case service and the front and rear differential service. When they did 27 point inspection they did not mention any leaks. When they did the oil change on March 11th they never mentioned the air filter needing to be replaced but yet when I brought it in on June 16th they said it needed replacing. I don’t know how comfortable I feel bringing my car in for service any more at your center considering all the misinformation, delays and miscommunication I have received in the past. More
Customer care is great. However, the mechanics and engineers aren’t qualified to work on cars other than just a basic oil change. My car has had numerous issues and none of them know what to do. One even said “I don’t know how to fix this”. My AC is making loud noises and not blowing adequately and I was told that it is supposed to make a rattling noise and that the blower is blowing “good enough”. I don’t feel comfortable with my car being worked on other than just a oil change. More
