I came for an oil change and tire rotation this being the 4 th time I have used this dealership because I purchased my vehicle from here and like to have the vehicle serviced where it was purchased. I think the longest I had waited in the past was maybe 45 mins to an hour (no big deal) each service I received great service. So this was the first time I was going to have to pay for the service. Being a loyal customer I wanted to buy a multi oil change package with tire rotations. I was offered a 3 oil change package for $229 but tire rotations would be around an additional $40 each time I need them rotated. I said let me look at the service deals on my phone because I get sent coupons sometimes for free tire rotations or deal prices and he said oh well I can look it up for the specific vin on your vehicle, like whatever I might have may not be correct. After being told this was the only plan for my vin I said that's fine and went to the waiting room with a stop watch provided and started by the gentleman in service. I sat patiently and waited at 1 hour and 45 minutes I went to ask the service cashier how much longer did she think it would be. She was kinda worried that I had sat there so long without any updates or anyone coming to talk to me. She came back after checking with the service department and told me they were finishing up. So I returned to the waiting room. So I anticipated it wouldn't be much longer. Well another customer came and asked me how long I had been there and by this time it was 2 hours and 24 minutes she was shocked and said they told her an hour and a half but had already finished and backed her husband's Jeep out and it had been sitting there for 30 minutes finished and no one had come to tell her so she was going to check on it. Well I got up to let the cashier lady know I was going to use the restroom in case someone came to get me. Again she was shocked I was still there and asked had anyone came to talk to me and I told her no. She said that she went back there over 30 minutes ago to check on it so she went back over to the service dept. There shortly my service rep had shown up to cash me out. He said they accidentally did someone else's car in front of me and they made a mistake sorry about that in a condescending tone . I am a very patient person because of years of working in customer service and understand things happen not being happy at this moment I asked how much for the single oil change it seemed to irritate the service guy so I said I really don't want to come back and have to deal with this again so I don't want to pay for 3 oils changes just the one. He then said you don't have to come here you can go to any dodge service. That's fine but honestly I think he didn't want to have to deal with me anymore. So I paid nearly $300 for the oil changes and the tire rotation. I am not very satisfied with this experience due to the attitude and lack of updates or notifications. I wasn't told I would have to wait over 2 hours or I would have left and came another time. I will probably go to Huffines next time because I had always had great service there with the Jeep I had before the one I have now. Also I guess there wasn't any checks on tire tread, brake pad levels,or filters because none of that was discussed with me and I do not have a paper showing those were checked. In fact my air pressure is low on my tires. I would think with the amount of money being paid for the oil change the fluid and tires/brakes etc would be checked for safety. I feel once it was figured out that I was skipped things were rushed and I am not confident everything may have been done. I take pride in my vehicle and need to know it has been serviced properly. A 3 to 5 day diagnostic period and no loaner car availability is inconvenient, frustrating, and ridiculous. Even when loaners become available something needs to be done to decrease the amount of t availability is inconvenient, frustrating, and ridiculous.
