I had a very positive experience buying a car from Greg McCoy. As a salesman, Greg was extremely helpful, calm, and straightforward throughout the process. When I began to get frustrated thinking there were hidden fees in the paperwork, Greg calmly showed me where the charge was listed and explained what the protection package entailed. I appreciated that Greg did not pressure me to purchase add-ons I did not want. He focused on the car I was interested in and made the sales process quick and smooth. Within a couple minutes (not hours), we had agreed on a fair price and I was able to move straight to the financing dept to gather wiring instructions. The only downside is needing to return to the dealership later to sign final paperwork. I prefer dealers who can complete the full sales process online, but Greg made the most difficult part of purchasing a car as painless as possible. Overall, I would highly recommend asking for Greg if you visit this dealership. He is an honest salesman who will ensure you understand all charges and feel good about the vehicle you select. I didn't feel pressured or misled working with Greg, thanks to his calm, helpful approach. More
The whole process took way too long. We did the app and the info that we got back did not really make sense (ex:credit score- it was told that it was way lower even though it is checked and monitored every week. I asked which score was checked and was told that it was confidential which made no sense considering it was my credit that was being checked). I was not told that I would get multiple inquiries/hits on my credit which really irritated me. We wanted the payment under a certain amount, but were rushed instead to fill out and sign papers before we were even told a number. Also the papers that they wanted us to sign had information that was not correct (ex:mileage) but Aaron still tried to get us to sign them before he wanted to update them. When I refused, then he decided to update them. We were told the receptionist used the car to drive to and from the bank which had to be a lie because it had 2,000 more miles added to it than what it said on the website, and it wasnt on yalls lot that long so it made no sense. Plus the dirt/items from the ground that got tracked into the car were not from a concrete surface, it was from grass and other places one would go. When we finally got to the finance part, that is when we were told the actual price which ended up being more than what we were wanting to spend per month, even though we were rushed in there to get it done KNOWING the price that we wanted to spend. We ended up getting the car anyway and after waiting an hour for it to get cleaned, I reach home and realize that the car was not even vacuumed out. Not sure what was happening to it in the back, but it took too long for it to not even be cleaned. All of the stuff that the receptionist tracked into the car was still under the paper floor mat that they tried to cover it with. That was extremely annoying. I ended up having to clean out/vacuum the car myself. So much for a new clean car. The process was too long, and I didn't appreciate not being given the info that was asked for up front or being told the truth about how the car was used. Other than that, Marquis was really helpful and Bijon was awesome in giving the info that was asked and needed. More

The service department are the only people to get the 5 stars. The sales department are enough of an aggravation that I will never buy another vehicle from Shottenkirk CDJR. When I attempted to speak with someone to rectify the situation, nobody could be found and no manager was seen anywhere in the lobby area of the building. I stood there next to one of the chargers on the floor for 5 minutes, and nobody bothered to ask if I needed any assistance, and that's not the first time that has happened. We were sold a vehicle that had open recalls and nobody said anything. When trying to assess the problem before we had the Jeep towed to the dealership, I found a GPS tracker attached to the battery and hidden under the battery cover. Nobody told us that your dealership attaches GPS trackers to vehicles before they are sold. At this point I'm wondering what else we haven't been told about. More

People seemed very friendly. Easy to work with all around. Few scratches on the vehicle they said they would have fixed.
