Took my vehicle in for standard service and received excellent service. The service was performed in a timely manner and everything explained to my satisfaction. excellent service. The service was performed in a timely manner and everything explained to my satisfaction. More
Contacted to schedule a test drive. Assured three times (online chat, phone call, text with sales manager, Gary White) that vehicle was there. Drove the 40 miles only to discover that the vehicle was not there, that it was at the railyard. Sent stern text to sales manager expressing my disgust. Received a call back from him asking how they could keep my business. I asked him to send me the OTD and told him that if it was at the MSRP on their website (i.e. no market adjustment), I'd buy the vehicle. Next day, another sales manager, Big John, called me to ask how my experience was the day before. Told him how disappointed it was. He again asked what they could do to earn my business. I repeated what I had said about the OTD and if it had the same vehicle price as advertised, I'd buy the vehicle. A little later, he (Big John) texts me their OTD with an addendum that included $2k for Shottenkirk Care and another $2k worth of LoJack, window tint, and door guards. I replied, explained that a dealer-care package did not make any sense for me because I lived 40 miles away and that I was not interested in any of the other stuff. Repeated that I accepted their offer to sell it for the listed vehicle price. Never heard back from them. Called back a few days later and was told the vehicle had been sold. Honestly, I feel like I dodged a bullet all things conisdered. More
My Salesperson at Shottenkirk Jeep in Prosper was fantastic and even picked me up at the airport. However, the dealership manipulates the pricing so they can show corporate Jeep that they are selling fantastic and even picked me up at the airport. However, the dealership manipulates the pricing so they can show corporate Jeep that they are selling the vehicle for a reasonable price, but then they add a non-negotiable $2000 customer care package to the price....which, in my case put the price above MSRP. It seems like a shady tactic to me. The price they advertise on cars.com does not reflect this $2000 markup that ends up being charged when you complete the purchase. The dealer told me that this is very common in the Dallas, TX area, but I can tell you that it is not common in other parts of the country. More
My husband flew from St. Louis, MO to TX to buy a truck then drove home. The truck is great but the customer service - not so much. They promised us a spare set of keys - w Louis, MO to TX to buy a truck then drove home. The truck is great but the customer service - not so much. They promised us a spare set of keys - we only received 1 key. It's been 6 months! We can't get anyone to call us back. When we call, email, and text we get the response "they are on backorder." Really, for over 6 months? Now our Sales guy, Kendrick, wont even respond to us. I then called several other dealerships who have the exact same key in stock, several. I now know, they are just lying to use and hoping we forget about it. Untrustworthy, shady people here. So unfortunately. We will be taking legal action until we get our key! Why is this so hard for them?! More
