I took my wife’s Grand Cherokee in for service and my advisor Wendell was great. We discussed the problems with the jeep. He was kind and professional, and I felt comfortable talking with him. Worst repair experience I have had in 71 years. Jeep sent me a safety recall notice over a year ago, but did not have parts for repair. Year later, notified ready to repair. Called Shottenkirk to s Jeep sent me a safety recall notice over a year ago, but did not have parts for repair. Year later, notified ready to repair. Called Shottenkirk to schedule the recall. First available appointment was 2 weeks later. Took operating rear door Jeep Cherokee into shop on Monday at 8:30 am. two days later told needed to order parts. Shottenkirk had my car for 10 days. When I got it back, I assumed it was fixed. First time I tried to open rear hatch 3 days later, it would not open on its own power. Called Shottenkirk the next Monday and they could not look at it until tech that worked on it returned from hospital. 10 days later took car in and reported the rear door locking mechanism had broken causing the problem. Isn't it ironic, that this happened after working on this door and when turned back to me on the first use it is broken. I do not believe it broke on its own. It cost me over $1000 to repair the lock. No apology, no consideration, and generally poor customer service. More

Amanda was very helpful with my latest appointment with the dealership. Only problem was with communications on the time to complete.
