They are very thorough with their customers. They make sure you understand and are happy before they put anything in concrete. They are wonderful at rescheduling when I need to. They worked with us financially on both of our vehicles to make sure we met criteria to get our loans! A handshake means what it did back in the old days.... More

Pretty much, the guy ruined the whole experience as soon as he started speaking. The lady gave him a shocked look as he was speaking rudely to me. He then calmed down but it was too late. If he didn’t want to provide the service, he should have mentioned at the very beginning not after I paid almost $700 for the repair. Unprovoked behaviour like this might be why I will try to find other places to go fix my car. Thank you for fixing cars issue, I’d recommend that this guy fix’s his temper issues as well. Customers aren’t there to listen to to this guys (I believe his name was Scott, as far as remember) temper. More

Always easy to deal with. I have an older Trailblazer with a lot of miles and it usually needs repairs other than routine maintenance. Always pleased with the work. Awful Our vehicle has been serviced by Shottenkirk multiple times, we liked the idea of a Chevy certified dealer working on our vehicle so we would know tha Our vehicle has been serviced by Shottenkirk multiple times, we liked the idea of a Chevy certified dealer working on our vehicle so we would know that everything was done correctly and up to Chevy standards. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had. First and foremost, the communication received from Shottenkirk left much to be desired. We were initially told that our cars issues were the result of the wrong coolant being put into our car. When we explained to them that they are the only people who have had/put fluids into our car the story changed. Now we were being told that there was not enough coolant protectant in the car, causing the fluid to freeze. It was only when they realized that our car is under a rebuilt title that they switched their story back to the wrong fluids were put into the vehicle. Upon inspection of the bill from our vehicle Shottenkirk promises that they will inspect the coolant level, and reservoir to make sure there are no cracks or leaks and to ensure the proper amount of coolant is in the tank. Our vehicle was last inspected by Shottenkirk at the end of September and we were now having coolant issues at the end of December/early January. When asked if they check the coolant every time the car is in the shop, they responded “they are supposed to.” After we addressed this issues with Shottenkirk, we were initially told that due to communication issues they would assist with our bill. We were then informed that because they had given us an estimate of the price they were no longer willing to negotiate even though the price we paid was over $300 more than the estimated price. We were told that our experience will be used as a learning experience for Shottenkirk, so they can try not to have these issues in the future. I urge you to reconsider taking your vehicle to Shottenkirk before you also get stuck with a bill of $1300 so they can learn a lesson in customer service. More

Too busy to give proper attention to detail First off the buying experience was a night mare when I purchased my vehicle there. And this last service I received was below the standards I want when getting my vehicle services. I specifically told Kelly to please check the air pressure in the tires, because I had one that had been off from the rest. When I got my vehicle back & started down the road, I noticed it was driving different, so I checked the tire pressure gauge. Somebody totally neglected to pay attention to the air pressure in the tires because there was 59 PSI in all my tires. Being one who travels an hour to and from work everyday this was a danger to me, my passengers & others on the road. I did not find that 'oh ma'am I'm sorry' & the brush off like I didn't know what I was talking about when I said my tires could have potentially blew out, was not very good customer service. I know that when you drive down the road, tires build pressure. There is a reason that the manufacturer has a recommendation for how much air is supposed to be in those tires. FOR SAFETY. Needless to say, I will not be returning to your dealership for anything anymore. One bad experience I let go of, but 2 I'm done. More
