My last experience with shottenkirk was last week. I schedule an oil change and tire rotation with a nice lady on the phone. I told her by the way I need someone to look at my back tires because they I schedule an oil change and tire rotation with a nice lady on the phone. I told her by the way I need someone to look at my back tires because they don’t hold up air like they should. I checked in at the service desk with I guy I can’t remember his name. Told him I was there for my 9:30 oil change and rotation appt under our extra warranty we purchased. And to have someone check out my back tires because they don’t hold air. Spent just about 1 hour 30 minutes before someone came to me about my vehicle, said there was a nail in the one tire but couldn’t find anything wrong with the other. I asked the guy who is named Christian, if it could be something like what happened when I first purchased my tires and they had to repair something (I told him I didn’t know the correct term) but they repaired them here at shottenkirk. He said he’d check. Spent another 30 minutes and he never told me anything more about my tire. Just said it was ready to go. As I drove away, I noticed the sticker in my car wasn’t changed, then looked at my receipt and nothing about an oil change or rotation mentioned on the list of work they did. I called shottenkirk back and I told them I think I didn’t get an oil change at my oil change appointment and the first two reps I spoke with just said that i needed to reset the oil change function and they just have forgot to. Finally Christian realized I didn’t get an oil change, and I can come back. I was super upset! Nobody spends 2 hours (with a toddler) to get just a tire fixed having an appointment made. How does this happen? My experiences before this have been terrible as well. The only reason I come back is because my husband and I have a loyalty to one employee. And that employee Boomer is the only one who offered their business card to avoid any future mishaps. He is the only one I trust at shottenkirk to get anything resolved.
