Recall and gas tank door fix Went here today to have my gas tank door looked at because it wouldn't close and to have the current recall for my Legacy fixed. Found out that the door wouldn't close because the cable came loose, nothing worse than that...and I was prepared to have to bring the car back to have a major fix done. Mason in the service department took care of me today with no charges and had me in and out with both services in about an hour. I can't tell everyone enough that this is the best place to go for service and for car buying. Everyone here is so nice and makes the effort to get to know you by name. I drive up from downtown Sacramento just to have my car serviced here because it's such a pleasant experience every time. And, this is the 3rd car that has been purchased here, between me and my family....I recommend Shingle Springs Subaru for service and for car buying to everyone wanting a hassle-free and pleasurable experience. Our salesperson, Ken Hall was extremely helpful and very low key. He helped us select the right vehicle and reserved one for us that was en route to the dealership. When it arrived he went through the entire vehicle front to back and took us for a drive explaining all the features. After he was done Claire Barnett spent almost an hour going over all the technical aspects of the vehicle and getting our phones connected. She's extremely knowledgeable and is able to explain all the technology in an easy to understand manner. We've also had excellent service over the years from this dealership and that's another reason we decided to make our purchase here. More

We came in with special pricing through Costco and financing that was excellent but required us to have a co-signer and open a checking account with a credit union in San Diego. Cooper suggested that we re-try with a different company on our own with the same low interest...I don't know how he and Brett made it happen for us but they did! I would suggest that if you are a Costco member that you go through them and meet with Cooper! Cooper got the vehicle I wanted there same day and even came in on his day off to make sure it was everything we expected...and it was! Claire was super knowledgeable about all the bells and whistles and Brett let us know all about our warranties and the financing and he even let us bring our dog in so he wouldn't be lonely while we bought our car (Thanks again Cooper for the chew toy! Buddy loves it!) Thanks to all of them! They made what could have been a stressful experience fun and enjoyable! More
