Had a warning light/service now indicator on my 2022 Outlander. Immediately made appointment. However shortly after making appointment the service light warning was no longer showing. Still took car for precaution and added oil change for service. A red flag popped up when I arrived and Sheridan claimed the VIN I gave over the phone was not valid. I had an insurance card that had the VIN and even after viewing the Insurance card and double checking, Shaeridan was still claiming the VIN does not exist. Had my wife print out NHTSA and drop it off. When I showed my car in the NHTSA database, magically they "found" the error. After diagnostic, no codes but serviceman found a problem and wanted to charge me over $700 for a front suspension repair that I knew would be covered under warranty and Sheridan said it wasn’t covered under the manufacturer 5yr 60k warranty. My 2022 has 56k. I called and spoke to Mitsubishi corporate and was informed the service is covered under the manufacturer warranty and doubled checked with the ACTUAL warranty booklet that came with the car. Mitsubishi rep said Sheridan never initiated a service order to even see if the repair was covered under warranty. Mitsubishi corporate suggested to get in writing that they will not cover. I have attempted to contact Sheridan for days and Sheridan will not reach back out. Mitsubishi corp said I should go to a different Mitsubishi dealership. The interaction started well. But I was tought that when you make a deal you are expected to live up to that deal. Some minor repair work was needed to the silverado I purchased (TPM sensors were going bad). Not only did they have me make one trip (1.5 hours round trip) only to tell me they were not ready for me and they would let me know when to return. But than they figured that they would only replace the 2 TPS that had actualy already failed rather than the 4 they told me they would replace. Thos all because they figured they could do them in house but fou d out they had to take it to a dealer to get them programed so it was going to cost more than they anticipated when they made the deal (not my problem... you made the deal!). Long story short, Sheridan Nissan on the corner of us13 and 273 in Newcastle delaware will not be getting any repeat business from me, anyone who asked for recommendations and a few face book posts telling people that Mike Bellina is not the straight shooter he claimes to be.
