Our overall experience with Shelor was great. I rated it great because I did get to leave with a vehicle purchase. I had spoke to the sales rep via email before driving to Shelor to actually test drive a ve great because I did get to leave with a vehicle purchase. I had spoke to the sales rep via email before driving to Shelor to actually test drive a vehicle. My expectations were high, and the sales rep exceeded them. It did seem to take quite some time. I believe we arrived at Shelor at 11:30, waited about 30 minutes to speak with someone, due to them being with a customer, then we started to look at available vehicles. We test drove 2 vehicles, and started the paperwork by almost 1 pm. We left Shelor in our new car 5 hours later. I was pleased with the saleman, but was a little disappointed because the vehicle we test drove, we knew we were approved for, and was told one price, and after accepting the offer, the price went up 2500 more dollars. The sales rep did advise that he had read us the incorrect information for the vehicle, so at least he was honest, but I felt somewhat betrayed and lost a bit of trust. After being approved for the same vehicle, it turns out we qualified and the payments were within reason. We did leave in a new (newer) vehicle that day just like the rep advised us before driving the long hour away, so overall the experience was great. I would recommend this dealership. More

Our experience was our first trip to Christiansburg, and it was a very good experience. Anyone who can deal with the elderly and a daughter side kick to boot has what it takes to please people and attends to their needs and wants with compassion and friendliness. He never acted like he was just out for a sale and took the time to cut-up with my mom and handled her with kid gloves. She was delighted with his attitude and how he wanted nothing more than to please her with her purchase. I think if it had been an older person that she would not have connected with them on the level that she did with mike. I will remember his smiling face and gentle talk on dealing with my mother and me. Thank you Mike I think she is very pleased with her purchase and having a new vehicle has tickled her to death.
