I was 600 miles from home and my truck would not start. Towing service felt starter was problem and took vehicle to Shelly motor mile. It was Saturday night and I was at the dealer first thing Monday morning where I met the service manager Patsy Viars. She was very understanding and most helpful. I was headed to northern Alabama and the break down was delaying an important appointment I had. Patsy was very busy and assigned Joe Allen to follow up with me. Joe was great also advising me they had found the parts needed to fix my truck. I was rolling by 2:15pm and able to get to Alabama on time. Patsy kept checking on me as she passed through the waiting room and was very reassuring. I am an older gent with my wife waiting in a motel room wondering if we will ever get going in time to make our appointment. I don’t know who the tech was but he obviously got it done in a timely manner so a special thank you to him. It is nice to meet people like Patsy and Joe who treat you kindly and respectful especially in a time of need. My wife and I are back home in upstate N.Y. some 1700 miles since our repair and all is well. More
This was a very smooth purchase. I’m very disappointed with your business. We have bought several vehicles new and used from you all and always the extended warranty. The 2015 Yukon Denali XL we bought from you all in 2020 h We have bought several vehicles new and used from you all and always the extended warranty. The 2015 Yukon Denali XL we bought from you all in 2020 had problems with the transmission from day one. We had it back several times and your service department said there was nothing wrong. Now the warranty is out 900 miles and I was told I need a new transmission. You all would not work with us whatsoever even though all documentation of transmission problems were documented with your service department long before the warranty was out. It was the only problem we kept bringing it back to Shelor for in good faith that the extended warranty we were sold would help. However we paid $5350 to put a rebuilt transmission in the vehicle which is still acting up. We have given and sent so much business to Shelor. We are so very disappointed that our relationship with Shelor had to end this way. We are done buying anything there because of what could have been a simple fix. More
