When charging a diagnostic fee of $130. 00 this should be told upfront and NOT stuffed in to end of charges. We had two service men dealing with this issue and both were being dishonest.. I purchased a new car July 2022 it begin to have this clicking issue which we thought could be under warranty. Being that it was less than a year old. Our advisor had stated that issue was not under warranty. That car needed an alignment. I agreed to that and that only. The fee for the alignment was $130.00 Within the hour our advisor called stating that to do the alignment I would also need new tires. I told him i would just have that done in my hometown and I would be in to pick up car. . At NO time did our advisor say we would have a diagnostic fee. That was only mentioned when we went to pick up said car. (If not warranted Ill just use my own personal garage for those things) I only used your service dept because I felt the issue could possibly be a warranty issue. Again, the only time a diagnostic fee was mentioned was when I went to pick up our car. There was absolutely nothing on our contract stating that a service fee would be applied. No signage posted and nothing verbal.. if I had known prior to I would have not left it. It isn't the fee in itself. I unwilling paid that. It's about being professional, honest and forthcoming about all charges. We were given the run around for more than an hour. Ever heard the ole saying "when ya know, ya know?! the supervisor basically said we werent being honest and knew about fees prior. I would gladly have paid what was agreed upon. Nothing on the contract we signed says anything about a diagnostic fee but alignment only.. also its very odd an alignment and a diagnostic fee are the exact same cost . 🤔With all that being said I am truly disappointed with your service department and have purchased our LAST vehicle from your dealership. More
