I had a tire that was losing air quickly and I brought my car to Shelor in the am to the express lake. They brought me in very quickly,both the service representative ,I think Christopher,and the rental car car to Shelor in the am to the express lake. They recommended air filter and cabin air filter replacement. I deferred to replacing it myself to save money.When I went to do it, I found 1 screw missing, 2 stripped (a drill is used by the sho replacement. I deferred to replacing it myself to save money.When I went to do it, I found 1 screw missing, 2 stripped (a drill is used by the shop, I am sure, residual metal shavings nearby), cabin air filter door torque screw is missing. Also stated that the wipers needed replacement due to wear-and they are fine. I'm done. This has been a long time coming with multiple chances and multiple mistakes (check engine lights after service x2, reckless sales staff nearly crashing into me in the parking lot-to name just a few). Most of the staff i have dealt with in 20 years are friendly enough (Joseph was nice and helpedwith another previous issue yesterday but now I need 3 new screws for my engine air filter and I wonder what else I am going to find. If I can't trust you with these "easy" things, how can I trust you with the bigger things, like the huge investment of my car that I have to rely on. Very Disappointed. This is the only shop that has worked on my car in the 2 years I have owned it. The way the 2 stripped screws were left is unprofessional and unacceptable. You owe me 3 screws for my air filter since they were damaged/missing on your watch. More
