My wife and I came back to Shelor to replace our Chevy Trailblazer. Having previously worked with Bob and having had a great experience we made an appointment with him. On the phone he asked us some preferences and when we showed up he had picked out some tentative options for us to look at. After a couple of test drives and his responses to our questions we made a choice. Bob was very well informed about the cars we looked at and was able to answer our inquiries with solid information. He showed us around the facilities that had been recently added/updated. He was up front about pricing and options. We concluded the deal in a very satisfactory manner, knowing we could come back to him if need be for additional information and service help. More

Josh Mitchell was a great sales person, very friendly and willing keep pushing my offer's through to the finance guy. I hope he's there when I come back and trade in a year... I was upset with the financing process (Finance team) and an experienced car buyer and accountant it was lacking in communication. I had purchased through Shelor before and in the past you sat down with the "finance person" to discuss your bank rate, loan term and other financing options. Apparantely not the case this time, when I was shown the figures of "Est. Monthly payment" and before signing any papers at the dealership so, I was never asked about bank rates or loan terms, I was worried only about the total price at the dealership. Then after we took a tour of the facility, we sat down (across the road from where the vehicle was actually purchased), where I thought we would work out the bank rates, monthly payments and ect. Nope, they gave me a farily high interest rate (and I have good credit and have my house paid for and only one credit card with very little on it). So, I asked the finance guy why I got such a high interest rate (I told him it was 3% higher then on the older vehicle I traded in). He said "oh well I can't change that, they do that across the street". I should have got up and walked away then,( 3% = $4K). So, I was upset they didn't tell me that across the street or even ask me if that was ok that rate was acceptable or not...So, the next day I had refinance through my bank with a 3.3% decrease in the interest rate and free GAP coverage....Again, if your going to Shelor ask for Josh Mitchell, he was a good sales person.
