Contacted this dealership yesterday about a specific Jetta I was interested in. Had a chat online with Denise who had to request more info be sent to me. I told her I don’t give out my phone number. First thing the person who emails me asks is “what’s your number?” Same answer. I asked for total cost. Had a couple of emails with her—Trisha— and then David emails asking if a lower model would work for me. No, obviously, as I hadn’t asked about said lower model. Again requested total price and itemized list of fees, etc. Again, he asks for a phone number—why won’t you just give me what I’m asking for? Three other dealerships have! So after I mention I’m getting tired of the BS and the song and dance of “oh, it’s $19,500 but I won’t give you the actual costs of anything,” the general sales manager gets involved. Recap: going on 24 hours since my chat with Denise, still no solid information other than one number I am certain would change if they actually got me in there. More
