No customer care. Inept service dept. Phones abandoned. Bought a truck at Sheehy. Had nothing but trouble getting it delivered properly. Problems were obvious--in one instance there was torn upholstery. Bought a truck at Sheehy. Had nothing but trouble getting it delivered properly. Problems were obvious--in one instance there was torn upholstery. The staff could not have cared less. They were happy to take the money but incapable of rendering even a modest level of customer support. Most recently--dropped truck off for recall work 5 months ago. When I picked it up the work was not done. They explained that they had only inspected it and confirmed the work was needed. I asked why they sent the recall notice if there was any doubt. They build the trucks, don't they know what goes into them? Anyway, it gets better. They had to order the part. Fine. Never called me back. So After about 60 days I called them. They could not give me an appointment (outside my working hours) to replace the part for 60 days. Fine. Got a Saturday , 8 a.m. appt. Drove it with the defective part for 2 more mos. Finally appointment day approached. Received reminder email from Sheehy. Cool. Dropped it off the night before so it would be there for them when they opened--right in front of service bay. Called them Saturday morning to notify them the vehicle was there waiting for them. Next day, 12:30--4.5 hrs after my scheduled appointment--I got a ride to the dealership. Truck was where I left it. No one at the service desk. Asked the cashier; she frantically searched for help. Asked for manager. He appeared 15 minutes later. Wasn't sure why the truck had not been serviced. Wasn't sure he had the part. I pointed out that this would require me to return the truck then for the 3rd time to replace a single bolt. He shrugged. Customer concern bone is apparently sprained. I asked for the truck back to take it to another dealership. They couldn't find the keys. After 10 more minutes the keystone cops service dept finally attempted to check the place I told them had the keys: the night drop box. Extra time lost while they searched for the key to the box. At some point, I have to concede, the ineptitude became sort of humorous. Wish I had filmed it. Anyway, back to the saga. Located keys and suddenly, faced with the prospect of losing the truck and surefire recall work payment, they magically located the part. Said they could fix in an hour; and they did, but forgot to mention that another 20 mins were required to input the data into their antiquated database and print all the forms, only 2 pages of which were for me. Wow. Manager nowhere in sight to offer condolences for wasting my Saturday, not checking their voicemail, failing to honor my [60 days earlier] scheduled appointment, or even a lousy coupon for a reduced price oil change. Nope. Welcome to the Sheehy customer care plan. But still not done. Got home with truck, praying the correct part was inserted. Fired up my laptop to share this experience with the public that desperately needs to question why they should spend their hard earned cash here, and yes, you guessed it, waiting for me was an email from the Service dept. notifying me that I had MISSED my 8 a.m. appointment. Awesome. Folks, spend your money any way you want, but if you want service, check around. Ask real people, and don't read the reviews that are posted by service dept employees.
