We test drove the jeep and everything seemed fine however there were imperfections to the body that were not visible in the online pictures of the car. We noted the defects to the salesman but they would not come down on the price. In fact they attempted to raise the stated price that was given over the phone. The salesman I dealt with said he did not own the car and had to redirect all of my questions to the other salesman that "owned" the vehicle. The salesman that owned the car gave very vague answers to all my questions and didn't seem very honest. However I gave them the benefit of the doubt and my wife and I purchased the vehicle right as the dealer closed. We left the lot and only drove 5 miles and the instrument panel lit up like a Christmas tree. My cruise control, ABS, and 4 wheel drive would not work. I drove the vehicle to a local parts store and had it scanned. It was throwing a speed sensor code. I purchased a replacement sensor and installed it, however the lights are still on and the features are disabled. I'm confident they knew of the issue and we're dishonest with us. I contacted them but the salesman that "owned" the vehicle was unavailable and I was told he would call me right back. He never has called. Do not buy anything from Shawnee Motors. They are dishonest crooks. More

No big deal it happens. A month goes my the engine went out. By then we'd gotten the title from the dealer. SALVAGED title!!! Well we spent the last 7 months looking for another engine, the right engine. How ever did the salvage work, put in a different engine. These people are nothing short of crooks !!! The truck is a $'3500 piece of crap. Do your self a favor. Do not buy from them. They will happily screw you like they did my 18 year old son. More

We test drove it ,and it and a few minor concerns. Nothing between the two of use , we couldn't handle. We talked with the dealer, and asked questions. One they offered up,was that the engine had be replace under warranty buy the previous owner. It was a small mother ,son lawn mowing service. They could find that paper work on the replacement engine? Okay. We bought it. Drove it home. My son was driving it around to show it off, like any normal teen age boy would. It dies !!! Had to have it towed home. Found out it was the fuel pump.Learn that dealers keep as little gas in their vehicles because they don't know when they will sell it. Understandable. It's hard on the fuel pump when you run a fuel pump like that. It's has to work harder, and heats up. When it is full, that has keeps the pump cool. Passing it on. I didn't know that until we were in this situation. Okay, it's a used vehicle. We knew that going in. My son fixed the fuel pump the next day.Truck is going again, and about a 100.00 fix. No big deal. About a month ago, my son is on his way to church. I get a phone cal while I'm already there. Dad !?! Please not be made. I was driving , and the engine started making a really loud noise. As quick as I could, he pulled over an shut it off. We towed it home. Looked at it. It's the engine ! The lower end is gone ,and knocking to beat al get out. Again, I knew this was a used vehicle. My dicision on buying this truck, was the dealer word. He said, even though he could prove it with paper work. The engine was newer. Yes I know it's a used vehicle, and you take that chance. I also take a mans word for being good when he gives it. Don't make that same mistake I did with Shawnee. What they are telling you,may not be factual. Used car dealer? People tell you stories, but I am an optimistic. I hope for the better in people, and sometime I will get my foot in a trap. Be careful when dealing with Shawnee motors. Dave Sands More
