While I admit the staff in the service department are very nice, I have had more than one occasion where I had scheduled service for particular issues and they did not have the part available when I brou very nice, I have had more than one occasion where I had scheduled service for particular issues and they did not have the part available when I brought my car in. It always takes weeks to get an appointment and to have to come back at a later date because they don't have the appropriate parts at the time of my appointment is not acceptable, nor is not being able to reach anyone in the service department in spite of numerous calls. I've been inconvenienced more than once and feel that Shaker would benefit from hiring a designated person to answer the phones in the service department and also have someone check prior to appointments that the parts required for the service call are in stock. My latest incident was a recall issue for a specific part that should have been in inventory but somehow it wasn't, and I wasn't notified about it until 10 minutes before they closed the service department. It's a waste of your time and mine if I bring my car in but Shaker is unable to service it because the promised parts aren't there. I was told I'd receive a discount for my inconvenience but upon picking up my vehicle at a later date I did not see any such discount. To be honest, if I had another dealership I could visit, I would, but this one is in the same town where I live and most convenient. Shaker is definitely understaffed and it's not good for business. Service time it took for an oil change was excessive. Dropped off at 9 am and never got a call and tried calling several times with no answer. On every occasion that I have had service needs, Shaker's Family Hyundai has made me feel like I am important to them as a valued customer. Also I am always taken care of promptly. My car was taken there because my car was broken into. Got an estimate and was told my car would be ready in 3 weeks. I go to the dealership because I kept calling for an update and left messages and ne Got an estimate and was told my car would be ready in 3 weeks. I show up and I’m told that they are still waiting for parts and that I needed to be patient. My car was left outside when there was 2 rainstorms. The back of my car now has mold due to rain going in from the back window. It’s been 3 weeks and my car is still not ready so I looked for another place to get it fixed. Im told I cannot get my keys because I would have to pay 20% for parts that had been ordered. I called the insurance and I’m told that they have already been paid and there should be no reason why it’s taken so long to fix. Long story short they are unprofessional. I ended up leaving with my keys once I called my layer and insurance company. Would not recommend with this new staff. Oh and I never got a loaner because supposedly they didn’t have any and I’m a cancer patient that has a lot of appointments. Highly do not recommend them More
