Talked to me like I didn't know what was installed on the car. I realize that most of your customers probably buy one due to the badge, and probably don't even know if the car has a dipstick. Some people like the older cars more than the new ones. More
Very Bad Support, Worst I have seen in Industry ever First appointment was give 2 weeks further as they said we are way too busy, then they called on day of service and rescheduled me two weeks further s First appointment was give 2 weeks further as they said we are way too busy, then they called on day of service and rescheduled me two weeks further saying they ran out of loaner vehicles. I explained I travel and can't give car for more than two days or will need to keep loaner for the duration of my travels. After leaving multiple message to service advisor (over 6 hour period) I did not hear back till I escalated the issue, and he was so defensive saying you did not tell me you needed the vehicle done in 2 days. And by the way it went ONLY for Alignment! He cant give loaner for more that 12 hours after repair and I am not allowed to take and part it at the airport! What a Chaos! I recommend everyone reading to never go to Classic BMW and I will not take my business back to them ever! Enough is enough! More
Speechless This review is going to be a long and detailed one, so brace yourself. I genuinely hate to post bad reviews, but I have no choice. First - I made an This review is going to be a long and detailed one, so brace yourself. I genuinely hate to post bad reviews, but I have no choice. First - I made an appointment a week or two in advance and planned my schedule accordingly. I requested my tires and alignment to be checked. 9:30 am- Dropped off car and picked up loaner (went smoothly- no big deal) 2 pm - I called to determine status of my requests and was informed I may not get my car back until Saturday April 26th, which was unacceptable as I planned and scheduled to ensure efficiency in time, and this would mean I would miss my mother's birthday :-( 5 pm - I received a call informing me that my car is ready- only a simple tire balance was needed (an hour long procedure at most!) No alignment and tires were needed. I appreciate Classic BMW's honesty in this regard. I picked up the car after sitting through rush hour traffic and waiting almost eight hours for a simple tire balancing. I requested no car washing, which they adhered to. Upon receipt of my vehicle, I noticed a yellow boogery, crusty looking substance on the driver side panel by where the seatbelt is on the interior. I went ahead and cleaned it off myself - again, no big deal. Car was driving and still does, drive great! They did an excellent job of balancing the tires. No shaking at high speeds. Then I discover that I am MISSING a LUGNUT and that ALL OF MY LUGNUTS were loose on one of my tires.....That is just GREAT! Who cares if my tire flies off when I'm going 100 mph down the highway??? They failed to put my tire back on properly, which is again... UNACCEPTABLE. So I contacted them and they sent someone out within two hours to fix it. They seemed willing to fix the situation(s). I really appreciate their willingness to rectify most of the stupid situations I got into as a result of their lack of Customer Service. However, I can't get back those hours of my time that were wasted. Their facility is nice, and they have free Starbucks coffee. I'd personally prefer better service and efficiency than a lounge to relax in. I most likely will not be back as I do not feel respected nor do I feel that they are very trustworthy. More

i bought 535 in may 2010 pre owned cpo and i also bought maintenance warranty. they say all will be well our service center will take care of you. when you go to service center once you pass the 50k mil maintenance warranty. they say all will be well our service center will take care of you. when you go to service center once you pass the 50k mileage point or 4 year point, they just want to squeeze you for everything. they want you to pay for diagnosis fee or something or something. eventhough you have warranty and it might be covered they will not be bothered to help you until you pay diagnosis fee and they dont do job right the first time. it is lot of pain, and lot of time consuming to deal with service center. more than your car fixed you are more worried what problems that they will get to your attention that this is not covered and how much huge bill they want to present you. i am worried with these kind of service centers in the metroplex - they tell you one thing at buy and they tell one thing at service center and more interesting when you call bmw north america - they are much more worse - they will listen all your conversation politely and all they say is - you have to deal everything wtih dealer itself - we have no say on any warranty issues if dealer says its covered its covered if dealer says its not covered its not covered. they say go to other dealer and try out - when you ask do you know which dealer is good in dallas metroplex - they say we dont have any rating all our dealer works as their own way - some go beyond and some dont go beyond - so its your hard luck when i ask can i get the list of wear and use parts that will not be covered by cpo - they say that list dealer should have and dealer is everything for them - they have no quality check of a dealer, they dont have a rating for dealer, when customer calls and asks for resolving the issues - all they do is file claim internally and no one will call you- it s a bogus customer serivce from bmw north america. never own any bmw over than 50k no matter what. they give top rated excellent service until 50k, once you cross that line you are thrown from tops of mt everest to bottom of pacific ocean - now you survive all becoz of your bmw network, friends network, your own investment of time - that's it BMW NA will not help you much, dealers will not help you much. You need to shop around now even you have cpo warranty - to find a good reliable trustworthy mom and pop shop around to fix your bmw. so looks like bmw technician outside working independently will have a good living than the owner of bmw. i am not happy with the dealer cut loose attitude and bmw north america leaving the customers in the dessert with no help to serve their expectation. the o nly expectation i get from dealer and bmw na is you have open a bank account and put good monies in it and give atm pin number to dealer and northa america - and they just keep taking whatever the price they want to fix the needs of the car. that's it- their is no self responsibiliity of bmw na to help both dealers, customers, car owners and server service and attain customer satisfaction and provide win-win for all of us. no they dont care whether you own bmw for long or not. they just care the new car is get out of lot and make their monies and dealer tell all kinds of stories to sell cpo vehicle and let you suffer after that. you are on your own even you buy cpo vehicle. i will not recommend to buy a cpo vehicle from bmw and not recommend to buy a brand new because of high depreciation. i recommend to buy bmw from outside one year old with less miles may by less 10k and use it for 40k miles and before 50k trade-in and switch vehicle. it is not worth the time or money or energy or pain to own bmw more than 50k or more than 3 years. it is money throwing through gutter to bmw. My battery died...before I called Roadside Assistance I called by salesman, Scott Gillis. Do you know he offered to drive to my house to give me a jumpstart? That is incredile! After taking my car in called by salesman, Scott Gillis. Do you know he offered to drive to my house to give me a jumpstart? That is incredile! After taking my car in to service the battery (it started with a jump but I wanted to be absolutely sure it was OK), the service advisor called (Chip...can't remember his last name) and told me they had changed the battery. In addition he had they run diagnostics to make sure the battery wasn't caused by any other issue and realized my service was about due for my brakes (thus saving me a later trip). I cannot tell you how good it makes me feel to get such awesome customer service. I'm an officer at a local company and this is a great example of what I remind my team....deliver service beyond expectations! It makes for happy customers who will remember you and use your services for years to come!! More
Beyond the Sales experience at Classic, which I must say was very good, I've had an extraordinarily terrible experience with this dealership. Here's the breakdown: 1. Pick up a new 2012 535i, drive off was very good, I've had an extraordinarily terrible experience with this dealership. Here's the breakdown: 1. Pick up a new 2012 535i, drive off, and the Navigation System doesn't work 2. Take car in for service, navigation is "fixed", and it literally stops functioning as soon as i left the Service bay. Seems like something they might check out, no? 3. Take the car back in, Classic determines that the Navigation Antenna is faulty, and they will need to order one, which will take a few DAYS. 4. 3-4 WEEKS later, after complaining via their "customer feedback survey", i finally hear that the part is now in, and i can now come back in to get it fixed 5. Classic determines that the Navigation Computer is out, as well as the Antenna - they replace both (in theory). 6. I pick up the car, which still has loads of tape all over the top of it, holding down the new antenna fin (annoying) 7. Drive off, and guess what - now the RADIO DOESN'T WORK! 8. Call back, obviously pissed at all of the time wasted and the hassle associated with a brand new $65K car, and get attitude from one of the Service Advisors I will NEVER return to Classic for any Sales or Service, and suggest that any current or prospective BMW owner avoid them at all costs. I chose Classic because it is close to my office, and seemed convenient - poor choice More
I scheduled a week ahead of time a noon service appointment for an oil change and state inspection. Initially, I was told that I would not need a loaner car and that my car should be ready in a li appointment for an oil change and state inspection. Initially, I was told that I would not need a loaner car and that my car should be ready in a little over an hour. An hour-and-a-half later, the service advisor told me that it would be another two to three hours and gave me a loaner car. I was given a disgustingly filthy Chevy Malibu with sticky soda stains in the interior and on the driver-side window. No one from the dealership bothered to call me for the rest of that afternoon or evening, so I was forced to keep the loaner car overnight. Finally, they called me at around 10:00 a.m. the next day telling me that my 3-series was finished (so much for that one hour or time window I was initially provided!). When I arrived to pick-up my car, I had to wait another twenty minutes or so for it to be brought up front. When they brought it up, it was as filthy as the rental car they gave me the previous day. When I asked the service advisor why it hadn't been washed, he told me that the washer was broken. After some further questioning, surprise...it turns out the washer was not broken as I was originally told, and I stood there for another half-an-hour before my car was brought back up front after going through for a wash. I don't typically go out of my way to complain about customer service experiences, but my experience with Classic BMW fell grossly short of my expectations, especially for a three-time Center of Excellence dealership. The general feeling I had from the entire experience was that my business simply was not essential to them. I found it particularly telling that when explaining my plight to the car rental counter clerk, he advised that his wife drives a BMW and only takes it to BMW of Dallas for all service work because of the poor treatment she's received in the past at Classic BMW. I suppose that I'll have to keep this in mind the next time I need service or am in the market for my next vehicle. More
This morning, we had to tow our BMW 750Li to Classic BMW because yesterday morning I locked the keys in the trunk. Along with a week's worth of groceries - including dairy products - on a day with over 90 d because yesterday morning I locked the keys in the trunk. Along with a week's worth of groceries - including dairy products - on a day with over 90 degree temps. Fantastic. After making some phone calls, we quickly learned that we have a "high security vehicle", and that the only way to retrieve the keys was to have the car towed to the dealership since we didn't have a spare key. BMW Roadside Assistance was incredibly helpful, and we were able to get one of the first towing appointments of the day. We arrived at Classic BMW and were greeted by our incredibly helpful and friendly Service Advisor, Byron Gabriel. After explaining the situation, Byron said he was going to try a few things, even though the service department was booked solid today. Within 20 minutes, he came back into the waiting room WITH MY KEYS! He even checked to make sure there wasn't any damage from the tow and turned on the A/C so I would get into a cool car. I HIGHLY recommend Classic BMW - especially Byron Gabriel - to anyone who needs to have their BMW serviced! More
This without a doubt the best car dealership I have ever worked with. Not only have I had several excellent experiences purchasing new vehicles from this dealership but after the sale their service departm worked with. Not only have I had several excellent experiences purchasing new vehicles from this dealership but after the sale their service department which is totally customer service oriented is the best bar none. They do what you ask and they do it in a timely fashion every time.
