My experience with BMW Sewell in Plano has left me seething and utterly disillusioned. Over two months, I’ve brought my car in three times—oil change, water pump replacement due to coolant, and front seething and utterly disillusioned. Over two months, I’ve brought my car in three times—oil change, water pump replacement due to coolant, and front brake service on March 25—only to be blindsided by an invoice flagging sudden oil and coolant leaks as critical repairs, conveniently overlooked before. On Tuesday, 3/25, I requested a service manager reach out to my service advisor. Telling me one of 6 managers would reach out. By Friday, 3/28, I’d heard nothing despite my persistent follow-ups, each one fueling my exasperation. One manager left a voicemail that day. I returned it promptly, leaving a message—silence ever since. Today, April 2, instead of tackling the root of these dubious repairs, I received a call from a service manager threatening storage fees. It’s outrageous. I’ve been waiting on an answer on these repairs, I made my thoughts known to my service advisor and have the texts on my requests. This isn’t just poor service—it’s a betrayal of trust from a BMW dealership. I’m so fed up that I’m drafting a letter to their leadership about this abysmal communication. They say they’re obsessed with service but I feel as though my concerns weren’t enough to warrant a timely response despite my efforts. I wouldn’t recommend this service center based on the communication or lack thereof. More
I came in for a car wash (which are free with purchase) and left with a flat tire due to a nail in the rear tire which was occurred during the car wash as their guys were cleaning it. I am 16 years old and a first time car owner, the manager Mike Pope made me extremely uncomfortable during the encounter. I am extremely disappointed with how the manager at this location treated me, he talked to me like a little kid and was extremely rude. He did not offer any solutions, only pointed out the problems, I left the car wash with the nail still in my tire and an outrageous pricing quote to replace it. I have the whole ordeal recorded on my phone with this horrible encounter. More
Sewell BMW of Plano has the slowest service center of all time and the communication leaves a lot to be desired. Extremely disappointed with service at this dealership. I have been a customer for my 5 series since it was Classic BMW. I have not been impressed with Sewell management since they took over, but my recent I have been a customer for my 5 series since it was Classic BMW. I have not been impressed with Sewell management since they took over, but my recent experience when I took my X7 in was extremely frustrating. Took my car in for a brake flush service and some warranty related work. Took me 13 days to get my car back. I would also be extremely wary of these folk taking your vehicle out for joy rides. My car was taken out twice in the 13 days it was there- The second time was when I was told the car was ready, only to find out that the warranty work on the 3rd row seats was never completed. The car was literally taken on DNT for 9 miles for what I consider a joy ride, just 15 minutes after I left it there for work on the 3rd row seats. Toll charges billed as well as screen shots from my trips in the myBMW app available as proof. Was told my car needed an alignment but the car didn't have any issues prior to my service visit and I am concerned them taking my car out ended up causing more damage to my vehicle there by now needing an alignment. They also damaged my window and was told it would be replaced but then they tried to charge me $740 for the replacement. Thankfully this was taken off once I explained what had transpired. I prepaid 3 years for oil changes for my 5 series but after this experience, this location does not inspire too much confidence and this will be the last time I take either of my vehicles here for service. BEING A SINGLE FEMALE, I HAD ALWAYS USED CLASSIC BMW PLANO FOR MY X3 SERVICE NEEDS, THEN SEWELL PURCHASED CLASSIC BMW . I WAS SKEPTICAL BECAUSE I LOVED CLASSIC BMW. MY BMW SUV NEEDED SERVICE THIS LAS PLANO FOR MY X3 SERVICE NEEDS, THEN SEWELL PURCHASED CLASSIC BMW . I WAS SKEPTICAL BECAUSE I LOVED CLASSIC BMW. MY BMW SUV NEEDED SERVICE THIS LAST MONTH, SO I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY. THE MOMENT I DROVE IN THE BAY, I WAS TREATED LIKE A VIP. MY SERVCE DIRECTOR ASSIGNED TO ME WAS MR. CARLOS VILLEGAS. I CAME IN FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, AND A RIM REPLACEMENT. HE GAVE ME A LOANER AND SAID HE WOULD KEP ME POSTED. I WAS IMPRESSED THAT I WAS SENT A VIDEO OF THE INSPECTION OF THE CAR, A FEW SMALL ISSUES THAT WERE SUGGESTED WERE TIRE ROTATION AND BALANCING SINCE I WAS GETTING A BACK RIM REPLACED. CARLOS WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND HELPED ME WITH MY DECISION. I USED TO NOT UNDERSTAND THOSE COMMERCIALS WHERE THEY STATED " I WILL ALWAYS DRIVE A SEWELL" NOW I UNDERSTAND. 5 STARS FOR SEWELL AND 7 STARS FOR CARLOS. THANK YOU FOR TAKING GOOD CARE OF ME. 2023 BMW X7 with 14000 miles needs 4 new tires, A/c not working properly and it has been checked and serviced 2 times. Window shade is broken at 1000 miles. Center Air vent broken at 2000 miles. Seat vent working properly and it has been checked and serviced 2 times. Window shade is broken at 1000 miles. Center Air vent broken at 2000 miles. Seat ventilation broken at 10,000 and all service guys and managers are thinking this is normal for BMW. I have taken my X7 so far 7 times for service with only 16000 miles for several different issues. More

I took my MINI Copper into Sewell to replace my battery. My service advisor was Jamie, she was excellent. The only problem I had was the battery that is needed was not in stock. So, they had to order some My service advisor was Jamie, she was excellent. The only problem I had was the battery that is needed was not in stock. So, they had to order some more. This battery was on back order and I had no idea when my battery would arrive. So, Jamie offered me another option to install another brand of battery that they had in stock. It was a great option, because the battery was a well known brand. So, I took that option. Thanks to Jamie I got my battery installed and I’m back on the road with my car. More
