My son bought his first car! From the sales staff to finance it was a pleaseure to work with them all. They were kind enough to hold the car as my son had to navigate through the buying and financing process and NEVER pushed him - which is appreciated since he was purchasing one of the ONLY CERTIFIED subarus in a 500 mile radius. I live in Chicago- two hours from this dealership but it would be worth the trip when I decide to trade in my Subaru- but knowing Subs this may be some time!!!! More
I had a great experience at this dealership. I showed up as soon as they opened and my salesman already had my car warmed up and ready to go. I sat down to negotiate, he got my information, and then came to me with an initial offer that shocked me and was really fair. These guys offered me a true military discount. Better than offers I would get down in Texas or other central Illinois dealers. The other dealers only offered me a small discount and would only do it if I financed. Subaru gave me a huge discount and allowed me to keep the discount even with straight cash. I was completely satisfied and would recommend anyone to this dealership. I would also recommend my salesman, Justin Blue. More
I have been coming to this sales/service center since 1997, when I first bought a Saturn. I just bought a new Subaru from them, not only because I like the safety, style, and features of Subaru, but lar 1997, when I first bought a Saturn. I just bought a new Subaru from them, not only because I like the safety, style, and features of Subaru, but largely because I love the service department and wanted to maintain my relationship with people I trust to be honest and do the work right. They have never steered me wrong. I trust their advice on repairs, and do *not* ever feel like they do unnecessary repairs to get more money out of me. More
The power steering went out the previous night. They got my car right in and then called to tell me it was the electric power steering motor and the cost. I looked it up to see what it was and saw that GM h my car right in and then called to tell me it was the electric power steering motor and the cost. I looked it up to see what it was and saw that GM had not done a recall on the part but would replace it for free. I called right back and told them. Carleen said she would check into it since they weren't actually GM dealer now. She found it was true and the GM dealer said they would fix it right away and at no cost. They took it over to the GM dealer and had it returned and did my oil change all in the same day. I was very pleased. The service dept. is why I will continue at this dealer. More
I HATE buying new cars, especially from a dealer because of the haggling, nickel and diming add on services, but I saw a used car on the lot that I had been looking for for a few months and wanted to look a of the haggling, nickel and diming add on services, but I saw a used car on the lot that I had been looking for for a few months and wanted to look at it. I contacted Cary who showed me the car I was interested in and we test drove it. He was laid back and no pressure and just let me check the car out at my own pace. They gave me exactly what I wanted, a decent price, fair trade price on my car, got me a loan at great rate through Annette and did all the paperwork. Even though I got a used car, it comes with 3 years free oil changes. They worked with me on my tight schedule and everything was ready to go when I needed it. More
We were in need of a vehicle on short notice. Jason was very helpful showing us several cars. We did not feel rushed or pressured. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They both helped above and beyond expectations when we asked recommendations concerning different options. We were never pressured into choosing something we did not want. Our car was delivered to us on the day in came into the dealership. Justin and Kelly spent all the time we needed to explain every detail of the new Forester. Thank you!!! More
Both Jason and Annette were thorough and responsive. Their attitudes make it a pleasure and actually fun to be buying a car. Also, teamwork was evident. On the first weekend of owning our Outback, we went to Chicago and came home with almost a 3/4 tank of gas remaining - fantastic ! Also, upon our return home, there was a message on our answering machine that I had left my reading glasses at the dealership. More

This is my first purchase of a Subaru and I have to say that Cary, Annette, and the rest of the staff at Subaru of Champaign made my the purchase of my new outback an actual pleasure. I hadn't realized tha that Cary, Annette, and the rest of the staff at Subaru of Champaign made my the purchase of my new outback an actual pleasure. I hadn't realized that the Subaru dealership was in the same building as the old Saturn dealership and then Cary informed me that many of the staff from Saturn were now working for Subaru. I had previously had good experiences with the Saturn dealership and the great customer service continues now that it is a Subaru dealership. Cary did a great job explaining features of the car to me, took the time to listen and respond to my concerns and had a low pressure approach to the sales process. The dealership gave me great trade-in value for my car. I'd had a bad experience at another dealership in town on a previous trade-in with getting seriously low balled on price and then being treated like I was trying to rip them off, so I was ready to go to war and had done my research on my trade-in's value, so imagine my surprise when the offer was within $200 of my target price for the trade-in. When I asked if they could match my desired trade-in price, the sales manager said something like, "if it will earn your business, we can do that." THAT is the right attitude to earn someone's business for life. Subaru of Champaign has definitely earned my business with the ease of the process, willingness to negotiate the price of the car and trade-in, 3 for Three free maintenance package, quick responses to questions, and overall straight-up approach with me. I would highly recommend this dealership and Cary as a salesperson! More
