I went in to test drive the Forester on a Friday, explaining that my husband and I would be car shopping the next day. Justin understood and let me take it out for a test drive by myself. When I got back he answered a few questions and said he hoped to see me the next day. That's it. When we returned to the dealership on Saturday it was the same. Justin met us at the door and we began talking about price. I felt as though they heard what we needed in terms of price, payments, etc., and got us close to what we wanted. They also gave us a really fair price for our trade in. And this was for the last Premium on the lot - so really they didn't necessarily have to work with us at all. Not to mention that Consumer Reports rates the Forester very high in terms of safety and reliability! On top of that, the Forester Premium we purchased had two additional accessory packages (heated seats anyone!) and still came in $2,000 under one of the other cars I test drove - which was stripped down by comparison. Our Forester feels and rides like a top notch luxury car! And, because of how wonderful Justin and the manager were, I'm even looking forward to future oil changes! I can't say how enjoyable this experience was! Much better than the more typical car salesman who accompanied me on one of my other test drives that Friday. His aftershave alone was overwhelming in the cabin of the car, and throughout the whole test drive he kept going on about the (very limited) options. Seriously, we would have had to pay close to $5,000 more than the Forester just to get a moon roof. I don't just feel like I purchased a car - I feel like I've become part of the Subaru family! More

I'll admit he was part of the reason I ended up choosing Subaru over another brand. He provided all the info I needed without trying to oversell or pressure me into buying. I received a very fair offer on my trade-in as well as on my new Forester. It might be standard, but I appreciated the walk through on some of the features. And I can't complain about free oil changes, tire rotation and roadside service for 3 years. More

They totally won me over with no pressure, fair trade value on my old car, and decent price on used car I wanted. Plus 3yrs free oil changes and nitro membership for tires. The anxiety of "the dealing with the dealership", is nonexistent when you deal here. More

Bought another Subaru after all I went into the process of replacing my 2003 Subaru Forester wanting a cushier, quieter ride and a climate control system that provided heat when I wa I went into the process of replacing my 2003 Subaru Forester wanting a cushier, quieter ride and a climate control system that provided heat when I wanted it, so didn't expect to find these qualities in another Forester. I was surprised to learn that Subaru must have been paying attention to customer gripes, and with all the new high tech features and continued 5 star safety rating, I ended up with my 2nd Forester. Justin Blue was a great low-pressure salesman who answered all my questions and got me a price I could live with. Annette Krueger handled the details of the sale efficiently and with good humor in spite of being swamped with about 6 or 7 sales in a single year-end afternoon. An overall excellent new car buying experience. More

This was my first buying experience from a dealership, and I had my list of things to watch for and thought I was all prepared to shake my fist at them, call them crooks, and walk out. Instead, I ended up smiling the entire time, found a great car, got a good price on it, and had a bit of fun in the process. So, I will stand up and shake my fist at Subaru of Champaign and snarl, "xxxx you for being so friendly, having interesting personalities, and helping me buy a great car!!" More
