If possible I would give -5 stars 1 star is far too many. Don't bother unless you want to spend a lot of time in their lounge. 1 replacement Key cutting/programming 5 hrs 3 hours sitting in their lo many. Don't bother unless you want to spend a lot of time in their lounge. 1 replacement Key cutting/programming 5 hrs 3 hours sitting in their lobby only to be told with a smile and a laugh that their $20,000.00 key cutter was unable to cut the key, even though they verified that it was a Genuine Subaru key while checking me in, no apologizies just some "if it weren't for bad luck,, joking attitude," I was then sent to a local locksmith who cut the key in less than 5 minutes. After getting back to the dealership and waiting in line to get my car checked with no recognition of the 3+ hours i had already been their, finally the Mr. "if it weren't for bad luck"... sees me and says we'll get right on it. 1.5 hours later i am finally brought to be checked out. I am then told by the service person who has been mishandling me all morning says "if you had ordered the key from us you wouldn't have had this issue..." That's when I realize this dealer was punishing me for not buying the key from them!! More
Poor, expensive, rude service. Unfortunately - even though we love the Subaru car we have, we have had horrible experience dealing with the service team here. Phone responses and conversations are consistently rude, service is poor and extremely overpriced. Willingness to fix known Subaru issues even under warranty is very, very low. Here are some of our experiences to date: 1. Oil consumption issue. Our car was needing 1.5-2.5 quarts of oil added every single oil change. At first they tried to tell us this was normal (even though I complained about it every oil change). After Subaru released a recall/test for oil consumption, they told us that our car had failed the consumption test. Insane. After forcing them to run the test again - they admitted finally that the car was consuming more oil. They refused to refund me the cost of the oil even though we had documentation and receipts. 2. AT/Transmission Oil issue. When driven for 2 hours plus our vehicle regularly lights up with AT/Oil light. After 3 visits to the shop we are no further than the first. The next suggested alternative is that the shop takes the car and drives it for 2 hours until the light comes on to read the code. It has been an extremely frustrating experience. 3. Oil change regularity. Each time I take my car in for service a particular employee would try to badger me into getting an oil change after 5k miles (even though Subaru as a manufacturer recommends 7500). 4. Depending on the employee you get when you phone their service desk you can have a very undesirable/rude experience. 5. Phone surveys - each time we've visited their service center we've been hit by a phone survey almost immediately after. Each time we've indicated that we were not satisfied and would like a return call. We have never received a call. More

Extremely positive experience. Love the staff. I have purchased prior to this at Subaru of Champaign. I love Kelly Wetherell and Chuck Danowitz. They know exactly what I want. I wasn't sure I what I wanted as add-ons besides Eyesight, but the I recently purchased a Subaru Impreza with Eyesight. I dealt mainly with Justin.
