Great salesmen, completely worthless managment. I have ought my last 3 new cars here. I knew getting a new pilot was gonna take a long time, after 2 previous visits I was ready to sign papers, sal I have ought my last 3 new cars here. I knew getting a new pilot was gonna take a long time, after 2 previous visits I was ready to sign papers, salesman Andrew was great, gm agreed on a price, and after 5 hrs the gm comes and tells me he screwed up. He told me the payment price we had agreed on was jumped up 60-75 $ more per month. Financing and management were horrible!!!! They have lost my business for life.. More
Never will I ever buy We bought a 2014 CRV from Serra Honda in Sylacauga Dec 31st 2013. We were treated fairly well from our sale person in the very beginning, but then we We bought a 2014 CRV from Serra Honda in Sylacauga Dec 31st 2013. We were treated fairly well from our sale person in the very beginning, but then we never saw him again anytime we were in there.But we were told I don't know how many times that my arm rest on the drivers side would be replaced because it wouldn't stay down for some reason....But they obviously need to hire somebody else in the parts dept, because they never ordered my arm rest. 3 weeks after it should have came in, I called to see why I hadn't heard from them & this guy checked & he said it was never ordered but couldn't tell me why...Well then our car decided it wouldn't crank several different occasions & we had to be jumped off, which here's something wrong with that picture because you shouldn't be having to be jumped off if your car is less than a year old,We took it to Serra Honda 2 different times & they put us in the waiting room for over an hour both times for them to tell us they never found nothing wrong with the battery. They tell us it may be something in our alternator which was not covered wouldn't you know....We didn't have the extended warranty. Another bad experience we had was when we attempted to order front & rear skid plates for our CRV & Window visors for all our windows....The lady told us they didn't make the skid plates for our model...My husband said I don't know why not its brand new....We got so aggravated at her we told her to forget it...Anytime we were ever in there for oil change, the sales area that you should see salesman everywhere, you would not see none hardly anywhere...Its like a ghost town in there...We decided to trade our CRV in on another brand name vehicle & get completely away from Honda. nobody should be treated that way....Especially on a brand new car....We would never ever recommend this dealership to anybody. More

Wow, an experience that I wish that I could forget!!!!! I took my mom's 1997 Honda CRV to this dealership for them to troubleshoot why it was cutting off on my mom so often. I shared with them that my mom w I took my mom's 1997 Honda CRV to this dealership for them to troubleshoot why it was cutting off on my mom so often. I shared with them that my mom was an elderly lady and I was concerned about her getting hit from behind with the vehicle just stopping at different times. I shared with them that the vehicle had cut off on my mom and my brother several times while they were driving in traffic. I asked them if they had any idea as to what might make the vehicle cut off unexpectedly, without notice. They told me that they would check it out. I was told that they test drove the vehicle but it did not cut off with them. During the test drive they noticed that the transmission was changing out a little rough and recommended that it be replaced. They also noted that the speed sensor would need to be replaced but nothing else was said about the original reason for me bringing the car in to them, which was, it was cutting off in traffic. I told them that I was not interested in replacing the transmission at this time due to the age and miles on the vehicle. I agreed to have the speed sensor replaced and brought the vehicle back a second time. I reminded them again that they never resolved the original issue that I initially brought the vehicle in for. I had done some research and asked them if the ignition switch could possibly be the cause of the car stopping and they said that it could possibly be the switch. I asked them if they had the capability of testing or checking the switch and they said "yes". I told them that I would like for them to check the switch. Now this makes the second time that I've driven over an hour and a half to bring this vehicle to them to troubleshoot this issue. Believe it or not they replaced the speed sensor but did not check the ignition switch for a second time. I was asked to bring the vehicle back, a third time, for further diagnosis. I couldn't believe it. They didn't do anything the first two times now they want me to bring it back a third time for possibly the same results. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. To add insult to injury, I was contacted by someone from the dealership asking about my overall experience during my visit and I shared with them what I have written. I was assured that I would be contacted by someone to discuss this further but I haven't heard from anyone. I'm not surprised that no one has contacted me back because I let them know that I was very unhappy with the level of service I received. I will not forget this ordeal anytime soon. Hope anyone reading this has better results. More
Mishandling of Motor Vehicle title registration documents (By law need registered 21 days from purchase) 12-16-13 Purchase an Honda Odyessy EX-L - Paid $699.00 Documentation Fees. 12-16-13 Sale person (Sha (By law need registered 21 days from purchase) 12-16-13 Purchase an Honda Odyessy EX-L - Paid $699.00 Documentation Fees. 12-16-13 Sale person (Shane Vick) documents will be mail to our home in Alabaster, Al 01-10-14 Spoke with Shane Vick - no documents received by us. 01-10-14 Shane emailed documents - I could not print them. 01-10-14 Shane told me finance will mail the originals the same day to our home in Alabaster, Al. 01-15-14 We had not received documents 01-15-14 Spoke with Finance person and ask to FedEx the documents to us in Alabaster, his email din't arrived. 01-17-14 Received a FedEx with only one (1) document. 01-17-14 Spoke with Finance person - he said - you need two documents (2) he was with customer and will call back. 01-17-14 Two hours later not call received. 01-17-14 S.O.S!!!!!!! I had previously bought from Serra Honda Sylacauga and had really enjoyed my car buying experience. I was interested in trading in my current vehicle and wanted to do business with them again. Came in , f had really enjoyed my car buying experience. I was interested in trading in my current vehicle and wanted to do business with them again. Came in , filled out credit application and they appraised my vehicle. Had to leave because of time , but the salesperson called me back later to say we were approved and that what I had discussed (monthly payment limit , etc) could be worked out . We then made the 30 min trip to the dealership the next day and the salesperson who I had met with the day before referred us over to another sales rep who was extremely rude and kept addressing me and not my spouse as if they weren’t there. He then did yet another appraisal on my vehicle and I asked him to be sure that everything that was discussed the day before was still what we were looking to do and he said yes. In the end, everything that had been told to me the day before was not being honored and we were being pushed into a car payment that was 0ver $300 more than what I had said we could do. He even said if he could match that payment with another vehicle , would we still consider buying from them and we said yes, only to have come back moments with an ultimatum of either paying a car payment $300 more than what we could do or stick with our current vehicle. We left, feeling hurt and mistreated. Terrible experience , I really thought Serra Honda was better than this. More
