Service Department Excellence I took my car in for service on 03/16/2015. My experience started with the person who set up my appointment for service on recall issues. On Monday I I took my car in for service on 03/16/2015. My experience started with the person who set up my appointment for service on recall issues. On Monday I brought the car in the morning and that was when Megan Stiffler started working with her magic at the desk. She was very friendly, polite, and seemed to have a genuine concern for the vehicle issues and my satisfaction. She explained what I would owe for the rental, what the service team would do for my car, and the check-up it would be given. She promised to call the next morning and she did explaining what had been done, what should be done, and when the car would be ready for pick-up. The experience was once again great and it is why I continue to go to Huntington Ford for car service and for the purchase of a new vehicle in a couple years. thank you...Steven La Joie...a very satisifed Ford customer. Poor Service Department Brought in a 2013 Ford Escape for service due to squeaking front brakes June 24th 2014. The service department said they checked the brakes well and Brought in a 2013 Ford Escape for service due to squeaking front brakes June 24th 2014. The service department said they checked the brakes well and couldn't find anything wrong. I accepted this thinking they would wear and the noise would subside. The noise became louder every time the brakes were applied. Returned to Huntington Ford on Julu 8th 2014 and left car for the day. Told service person that after driving the car for 15 minutes the brakes squeaked very loudly (100%) of the time. They said they would take it on a good test drive. That afternoon the service department called and said again, they couldn't find anything wrong with the brakes or rotors. I was told they had driven the car for a while and did not hear the noise. I thought to check the odometer when I dropped off the car, then checked when I picked it up. 2 miles were driven. I was quite upset. My husband called and spoke to Dave Watt (Service Manager) who said they drove the car for 15 minutes. Dave blantly lied about how long / far the car was driven. Next we contacted Brad Schiller (General Manager) and explained the situation. Brad was nice but did not even offer an appology for Dave lying or to say he will confront Dave and tell him customers can not be lied to. July 10th 2014 6:30PM took car back to dealer after driving 20 minutes from work. Brakes were squeaking very loudly. Serviceman drove the car and acknowledged the sound. Car was left overnight for service work. Brad nor the serviceman never appoligized for my inconvience or their lack of driving the car further the first two times. I would not reccomend this dealership to anyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The service department is NOT representing Ford Motor Company the way they should be. More
Excellent Customer Service I am new to the area and was looking to find a dealership to service my Ford Cmax. I called the dealership and talk to David Duncan who not only took I am new to the area and was looking to find a dealership to service my Ford Cmax. I called the dealership and talk to David Duncan who not only took the time and explained my maintenance schedule to me, he sincerely welcomed me to the area. I found out I wasn't due for service as I originally believed and was not pressured into services I didn't need. He suggested the best maintenance schedule based upon my driving habits and explained Huntington Ford's pricing to me. It was refreshing to experience a dealership and person who was interested in my needs and not just my money. Thank you David for your help and you have gained the trust of a new customer. More
Reluctant to return to dealership for service, I contacted my selling dealer regarding the wear issue on my tires. I was very tough with Megan Stiffler at Huntington Frod and was a little abrupt with her because I know a lot of brake material engineers at Ford and doubted her comments. The shuttle service is completely unreliable. I waited over 2.5 hours from the time I called until the shuttle service came to pick me up from work. No indication it would take longer than usual. This was at the end of my work day so I was stuck at work for an extra 2 hours. Thanks guys! This place is terrible. Stop being so cheap and hire another driver if you have that much business. More
