This repair experience has been a total nightmare. I originally dropped off my vehicle with Serra Bartlett on March 5th to get a diagnostic run because my engine dash light was on. I was informed on M I originally dropped off my vehicle with Serra Bartlett on March 5th to get a diagnostic run because my engine dash light was on. I was informed on March 7th that my transmission needed to be replaced. I authorized the dealership to do the repair through my extended warranty company. After calling continuously for updates, and a back and forth with the then advisor, two weeks pass and I was notified that he was no longer with the company. I get a new advisor, who was a lot more responsive than the first guy but I still had to call in for updates. He answered all of my questions in a timely fashion, even if I didn’t always like the answer. The claim was finally processed after two weeks, and I was told the repair could last another week since they had to order the part. Then after that week, I was told it would be another week because they ran into a “snag” and there’s only one mechanic who can complete the repair. Then I was advised it would be a couple of days more, but they were working on the vehicle. Then there was an issue with billing/warranty company…and after all of this I finally get my car back on April 2nd. Well one would think I’d be elated after going a month without my car, and having to expense a rental because the dealership didn’t offer loaners…..well would be if my car wasn’t making this loud noise when I drive it, a noise it WAS NOT making before I brought it in. Insult to injury, after informing them of my observation, they are requiring me to pay an additional diagnostic fee to go in and fix what they broke!! I have been a loyal customer to this location for 11yrs and I can honestly say that I won’t ever be back after this. This has absolutely been the worst experience of my life!! More
