Serra Chevrolet dealership does not stand behind there used vehicles even after you buy the extended warranty it doesn’t cover much . They want to pass the buck . We now have a broken down car with less than a year of service and they pretty much said that’s our problem. I wouldn’t buy a tricycle from that place and that’s my humble opinion. Very sad !!!!!!! I took my Chevy suburban there earlier this month to get a diagnostic text done on it. They called n told me I needed my sensors replaced( that that was the reason my check engine like was on and that it wo a diagnostic text done on it. Long story short we picked it up and drove it a few miles and it ran hot. My husband looked under the hood and there was not a drop of water in my truck (he put four jugs of water in it)My hose was shooting out water. We took it back a second time. They said they ran a diagnostic on the engine to be sure my engine wasn’t messed up(from the uncertified technician working on it) The service manager John called and said it was fine. We picked it back up after they said they corrected whatever problem it was. But they also said the technician that worked on my truck was not certified. That the new technician that worked on it was certified. Moving forward my truck wasn’t running hot before Serra touched it and now when they gave it back a fourth time my truck is still running hot and now after the service manager John said my engine was fine on April 11th has told me on April 13 n 14th that I need a new motor but I didn’t need one before his uncertified technician (at their CERTIFIED SERVICE SHOP)touched my truck(that’s what John the service manager said out of his mouth)and that they was not going to fix it. On top of that my husband looked under the hood yesterday (after it ran hot the day before) just to find out that they have broken my oil stick and the bracket that it sits in and that it had no water in it again. We called John the service manager and he said that he would not fix it. So we will be going to court and getting a lawyer involved for Serra Chevrolet on Center Point to replace my motor and what ever else that they broke. The service advisor (Tessa) told me that my check engine light was on (after we brought it back a second time) because I had a oil leak. Is everyone uncertified at this CERTIFIED Service DEPARTMENT. My truck was in perfect running condition before their UNCERTIFIED TECHNICIAN at their CERTIFIED SHOP TOUCH MY TRUCK. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE LOCAL NEWS TO MAKE LOCALS AWARE OF SERRA CHEVROLET MESSING UP CUSTOMERS VEHICLES AND THEN NOT WANTING TO REPAIR THEM AT THEIR EXPENSE. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM A -100 and asked that they be shut down. This is not over with!!! Tell me why all the 5 star reviews are from the employees! More
