We would like to clarify and respond to the above comments. First of all, customer (and employee) satisfaction is our #1 priority. We pride ourselves on good people, quality work, and doing things right. If an issue does arise, we take the necessary action and steps to do whatever we can to make things right. Here’s what happened in this situation: 1-The vehicle was at the dealership for 7 full business days, an additional day while we waited for the insurance company to approve the estimate before we started the repairs. 2-For this vehicle, there were 13 different parts that needed to be ordered and replaced for the front end. It took 5 business days to get all the parts and some had to be rejected and reordered. Sometimes problems can occur with what kind of parts are installed. For example, it could be an aftermarket, used or new part(s)—it can be an arduous process, at times, to get some of these parts to fit correctly, therefore causing delays; the customer is contacted and updated throughout the repair. The insurance companies dictate which parts are to be used for replacement, repair. 3-Rental coverage is available to purchase as part of an auto insurance policy, should the customer choose to add on this coverage. 4-We have contacted this customer and have an appointment set up, along with their insurance company, to come in and review the work performed and address any concerns. Should there be an error on our side, we will provide the customer a loaner vehicle while we correct the issue/concern. We strive to be the best in everything that we do. In the body shop for instance, we back this with a lifetime guarantee on our repairs. We truly do care and want each and every customer to leave our dealership happy. Hopefully, this will occur in this situation as it has with many of our customers over the 42 years we’ve been in business. That is our ultimate goal. Kerry Whelan
